I was wondering when you were going to stop by. Welcome. I hope you voted.

It's fine. I've actually got a bet on with myself of how long it will take your blue name to turn red, and not because you become a mod.

Anyhow my bet expires in a couple of months. Can't see me losing that fiver.

If you make deals often, you would understand that a handshake does not mean you are a 14 year old girl.
If someone wanted to conduct a business deal with me through cartoon drawings rather than grown-up words, I would seriously question their sanity.

So with all this being said. Curious, what did you vote?

Well I'm not a 14 year old girl, so I'm not interested in emojis any more than you are interested in what I voted. I guess you quite simply quoted my comment to bump your thread and keep your signature on top.

Honestly after seeing the way you have conducted yourself in the past. No matter what you do, I believe it is simply a promo attempt. I believe you came here quite simply to push your 10 a penny service onto anyone who would take you on. I wouldn't be wrong would I?

Sad to say you are wrong. I quoted your comment because you replied to my thread. Not sure what age had to do with good business practice. Do you not handshake someone when closing a deal??

Emojis are not good business practice. In fact quite the opposite. If I received a message stuffed with emojis asking me to promote a product for the sender. There is absolutely no chance at all I'd promote that product. I'd be under the impression that I was dealing with a kid or a simpleton:eek:

You are taking this way out of context.

Deal:

Someone msgs someone asking for a service.

They agree on a service and price.

Payment is made.

Send a handshake.

That is all.

Thats the truth
Sending messages with emoji is not at all professional

When you conduct a deal over the phone, do you say the word "handshake" at the end?

Using emojis for a business deal doesn't convey professionalism, it just comes across as immature, and a little creepy.

I love you dear.

Oh I've just realised just how pathetic this thread is. It's actually your second thread on the same subject. How you are still around is beyond me.

I am not saying to FORCE you to use it. I am suggesting to add the option to.

YES

Millions of deals throughout history have been settled with a handshake. There was a time when a (wo) man's word meant something. It should still be that way.
Well I guess it is still that way, we just shake hands after the lawyers get the contracts signed... hahaha

I voted yes just to keep this discussion alive and poll even at 50% while I eat my pop corns and you all discuss

And I'm saying that if someone starts sending me cartoon drawings in the middle of what's meant to be a professional business deal, I'm backing out.

You are taking out of context. The discussion is about adding a handshake emoji to the list... Not to start sending cartoon drawings???

I believe BHW already has an emoji for his :poop: threads.

Well the yess's are winning so I am happy to say you are wrong.
