I couldn’t agree more with this statement. Nowadays, the Internet is full of useful educational content which covers different studies. However, tt the same time, it’s a huge library which is bloated with people trying to earn money selling information that is literally written on the first page of search results.

You can see dozens of ‘unique’ courses, coachings that will make you a millionaire in a year, methods allowing to earn a $100 of daily passive income etc. At the end of a day, all these hacks are no more than a set of basics flavored with a bunch of lie and presented by a charismatic author.

After spending hundreds (or thousands) of hours on various courses and coachings I realized that most of them are following the same script. I decided to share it with you so you could avoid wasting your time on such activities.

Hello guys, my name is <author’s name> and I will tell you about a brand-new advanced technique called <name>. You will learn how to earn thousands of dollars using his technique. Key thing is that you don’t need to be an expert in <niche> and it doesn’t require any investment (or only a couple of bucks).

Now it’s time to remind your target audience of their pains.

Well, this example is kinda obvious and smells like 2008, but trust me 90% of today's courses are based on this structure. They play with your pains, pull the wool over your eyes showing made up figures and offer a unique solution.

Nowadays, such gurus tend to focus more on offering a small but recurring and passive income. Like how to earn $30 each day with little to no effort.

There’s no magic stick in this world. No one will share a gold mine with you unless there’s no gold left in it.

Learn from free sources and practice yourself.

There are those whom genuinely train, more congruent emphasis on self-help towards business. Especially those with proven track record, not those with just flashing rental cars. I realize the real ones tend to write actual books, and/or have a reputation. Your analogy seemed more like a niche of infested wannabe gurus. Wouldn't be bias about this; they both exist.

I agree with you, its same like gold mining in 1800 there are a people who keep digging searching for gold and there are a people who make a load of money selling digging tools. and as from my experience, about 90% from courses are fake only to generate profits from the course only. But also other hands there is a genuine mentor that are ready to help but you need to dig for them and see what their conditions and if they are really willing to help.

I think this is like Gym, indeed you can go to the gym and do the whole thing alone but finding a trainer near you will change the experience to make the results faster to appear. but in the end, it's all about the action we will take

True. There are many experts in their fields that can help you a lot, but they are usually not behaving like those from the example above. Almost everyone has a book nowadays, and reputation can mostly be faked (I'm not even talking about fake reviews, people who bought their courses just keep advocating the bs they paid for)

Yes, most information (all probably) is free available BUT: Most people don't know:
- where or what to search for and,
- how to implent all these information the right way.

I'm selling information too, but not I brand myself NOT as a guru or something but as the guy who will take your hand true the whole process. I do not state I have some unique methods for people or make them millionaire in 7 seconds. I do not make any income promises at all and I make also clear results are based on the taken action.

I think there is the difference: People don't want to find out themselves how it works, they need a complete solution. And that's why people pay for information.

I agree with you that those gurutards need to go away with false promises and their rented houses/cars vids. That's not a coaching business but pure scam. Unfortunately lots of people fall for this which give the real coaches/trainers/mentors how you wanna call it a bad name.

It’s all a mindset of working towards goals and practicing delayed gratification, which most people are horrible with haha. So whether you have your personal trainer or your online course guru, chances are you ain’t gonna make it because you have a “loser” mentality and are looking for a shortcut.

That's the stupidest thing I've read today. I've seen countless times people coming to the gym and doing random ass shit, possibly damaging themselves in the process, because they have literally 0 clue what the hell they are doing.

By that definition, every ( and I mean every ) successful athlete is a loser, because ALL of them have personal trainers. All those movie stars that prepare their bodies for action flicks are probably losers, because they wouldn't even be able to achieve results on their own in short period of time, because they have no knowledge in the field.

Having a personal trainer or a mentor in business has absolutely nothing to do with loser mentality. It has to do with wanting to have a solid structure to what you are doing and having help from someone who actually has more knowledge and more experience in a field significantly reduces time needed to achieve certain goals, because you are not wandering around aimlessly.

That is why people pay experts to learn stuff, be it a new language, be it a muscle building, be it business consulting. You outsource things you don't know to the people who can give you a structure in the field you have 0 knowledge about.

And I'm not saying that you cannot do it on your own, nor am I claiming that every one who uses any kind of paid help is a winner. Sure, a lot of people fall for dumb shit and even when they have good resources they still fail, because they have a loser mentality. But that's the issue in the first place. Mentality is the issue, not the tools you use or the fact that you use tools.

On the OP, I agree that vast majority of these biz gurus are absolute and utmost garbage. But I came across a few, who stood the test of time, provide shit ton of value for free and are not being salesy ( some of them don't even sell anything ) and I'm glad that I follow them and I will gladly support them by buying their stuff, because they give quality stuff and are interested in actually helping instead of just making money off of your poor ass.

You just have to find these gems and learn to use their information. If you buy courses for the sake of buying them or with expectations to become rich tomorrow, then yes - you are a loser. ( Not directed to anyone here )

I’m talking about your average joe who thinks a $30 an hour personal trainer is going to be the magic ingredient to net them success.

You don’t see professional businessmen seeking out shitty dropshipping courses by gurus online because they already have the knowledge and mentality needed to succeed, they go for REAL mentoring and coaching. And talking about paid, think of a surgeon that has to learn only from free sources. That is hilarious. You can replace the surgeon with most professions.

And that thing about personal trainers in the gym, I think it says more about the trainees. Not being able to stick or adjust to their goals, not being able to find a good trainer, not changing the trainer if that is the problem and so on.
In my experience, people that don't take the time to at least learn the proper form of exercises or at least to hire a personal trainer to teach them, end up injuring themselves or someone else.
