Hey davids355, is there a good list somewhere for determining which sites are good to get backlinks from? Right now I just look at DA to identify good sites to guest post for.

Firstly you should look for organic traffic (use semrush for this) as its a good indicator that the website is popular, successful etc. Second, look at number of referring domains as thats normally a good sign, the higher the number.
Third, look at the type of referring domains; obviously if it has any big authority sites like Wikipedia for example, then its great to get a link from. But equally, if its got links from sites that you have heard of from within your niche, maybe sites you have come across when researching your content for example, then thats a good sign as well. There is no list you can reference here though, you really need to be able to spot decent established sites.

hmm learn sometimes more in depth but i just ask about these figure , I cannot get the websites only these info so wonder is good backlinks?

1) I never checked the organic traffic. My rationale is that I intend to just get link juice from high DA sites to push me up in google search engine results which in turn leads to more traffic? As such, the organic traffic to that particular site does not matter.

Well, it’s ok going by metrics, it gives an indication, but remember a) metrics can be easily manipulated and b) google doesn’t use those metrics.

As above, these metrics are third party indicators and don’t necessarily mean you are going to get any link juice.

If a site has organic traffic then google are ranking that site and thus probably consider it an authority to some extent. Therefor traffic is a good indicator of site, and Backlink, quality.

It’s not the only thing to consider if course, metrics also play a role.

without knowing the domain, it's always a risk. depends on seller reputation and how much they are charging you for the link....

One more thing , what if , a spam backlink will affect the site right ?
