Does ranking parasites still work in 2019?

Yes, I have several Amazon product pages that I use as parasites and often blast them.

However, Google only seems to like to show one or two Amazon product pages for each search phrase (click 'repeat the search with the omitted results included' and you'll see how many more there are); therefore, another page could have replaced yours?

Ugh I dont know.
There is one in the niche that has been sold out for years and they always get the serp. They have no backlinks. BUt for a while amazon was ranking us both. BUt now I just dropped out. I just started with the linking and got greedy perhaps. But do you think its not really my actions?

I hate the idea that I just overcooked it.

It's impossible to say what's happened. If I were in your shoes I'd wait a week or two and see if the page comes back.

The story goes like this. I was on a massage and of course, I did his business audit before I came and asked the guy if he needed a website since he doesn't have one but he said it's his side job and he's fine.

So I thought to myself it would be cool to rank #1 for the terms like "massage" + city term (I am talking about Croatian market) I sat and literally opened few links talking about a massage, translated them and posted on my fresh medium blog

Since I've read about the Parasite SEO a lot lately, I wanted to blast it with 3-tiered link building campaign for 10$ only. And the result is this. I wasn't hoping for much. After only 3 days this post is ranking like crazy.

Focus on your own pages. It'd be nigh-on impossible to get rid of another sellers pages without doing something extremely underhand and possibly illegal.

Which ones do you like to use?

Finding them myself will take too long nowadays, so I like to use ones that others find first. Episodes, movies, albums download, sports, etc.. These are some of the niches where you can find a lot of good parasite hosts.

Excatly, but how long will the parasite keep these positions and what it takes for it to reach #1, I have to test it. Plus I added my phone number just in case someone wants to book a massage. It's been 5 days no calls yet. I think the reason is because I wrote a sloppy copy (lol) and didn't include right information for people to make an action.

Try to write it as a review. That was something I had in my mind. Like I visited this place blah blah blah and it was great and add the link of your clients website.
Then talk about the health benefits and stuff.

I got no client. I want people to call my number so I'd give out free leads to some local therapist then I'd start charghing. In this kinf of business model, I can't simply write a subjective review, or I could write a review then tell them to call that therapist while showing my number. That's what I was thinking at first

Well what are average monthly searches for your ranking local keywords???

As low as it gets. That's the reason they ranked so fast. Adwords tells me 100-1k for main kw and 10-100 for other kws which is again not that bad

Then you do realize that actually ranking legit way,would actually be better...Blasting such low kw searches on parasites seems like bit pointless to me...
Cuz to previous "studies" parasites wont last long...

I am aware of that. First thing to note is that I am only playing here, and second thing is that it's easier to test with parasite and 10$ fiverr links to see if you can get some leads then invest into website, domain, hosting, theme, logo, content, SEO...
