how can I increase my Facebook page like? I am doing ads and it’s costing me about $1.17 per like, is that normal?

Also I was thinking about creating a group page for my niche but they are already a few out there, so not sure if it’s worth the time to do it? Your thoughts?

No, this is not normal. You're definitely doing something wrong. I pay $0.14 per like for Tier 1 countries and this is probably not a great result either, as I have little experience with FB Ads (still learning). If I were you I'd check your settings.

And then, there is nothing wrong with having some competition. Create that page and take a piece of the pie.

How many likes are you looking to bring to your page ? hundreds , thousands or only few likes ?

You can significantly reduce the price for a Like:
1. choose a good photo for advertising that attracts attention
2. come up with a text that will attract people to click like
3. think carefully about targeting (to whom exactly you want to show ads). Facebook allows you to select narrow audiences.
Good luck! I am sure that after correctly setting the price for a like will drop to 5-10 cents.

Fb ad ??? I tried before is very " tricky " is not say simple as that. I still trying to figure how to just spend a bit and get target more sudiences for page like. if you don't know how to do , it does backfire , spend a lot yet likes is not much
whereas those experts just use a bit funds yet can get a lot llkes , this is what I want but sadly I not say good , even find out here how people do FB ad etc ..still cannot

If you want "real" likes and do not want to spend money on advertising the page - only one way - many, many interesting publications with good photos and videos.
If you just need to increase the number of likes - buy them (a lot of sites sell likes for little money 5-10 dollars for 1000 likes). Google it.

That's why i asked him how many likes he wants .. if he is looking for targetted then fb ads will be his best choice and if he is looking for numbers then there are a lot of smm panels here on the marketplace that would sell him 1000 likes for 3 to 5 $

I not say buy like is good either, the likes will drop the providers does clam , well depend which likes you want , but end of the day " subjective " FB ad i can sure the likes is real , real people and the likes will not drop much but sadly hard to find such provider.

If you want cheap likes then choose countries like India, Bangladesh,egypt, pakisthan and get some I love you image and in title say like to spread love. Cost will be lesser than 1 cent.

I did play around with the setting. I am doing specific interest so maybe that’s why it’s costing a lot? If I open it up to everyone then maybe I’ll get a lot?

Still learning and playing with it.

I don’t want just like, I’m trying to build my client and eventually offer my services.

Any other tips and suggestions is appreciated.

Create related group and get real peoples to follow your page. sure it will worth to increase your page likes.
