I set up a squeeze page usingl Click funnels.

I am offering a free eBook in exchange of their email.

I am using GetResponse to capture leads.

I tested the form several times, it's working.

After $23.59
196 clicks
1k impressions

0 email leads.

Oh, well... I didn't expect that!

You cant expect people to convert after spending $23. SOOOOOOOOOO many things that factor into whether a user will subscribe to your list. Keyword targeting could be shit, Click funnels landing page could be shit, your bid could be shit, so many things. You should be testing click funnels against another landing page or 2. Are you offering something no one is interested in, do your users want a free ebook of information they can find anywhere on the internet? Are you offering them something they truly want?

I tested 2 different landing pages & these are my results after 3 days. I know is not enough data but if I'm not converting at least 1 for $23 bucks is not worth it.

I will change my niche. Thank you for the input.

If you spend 23$ on each niche you test you'll never succeed. You have to give yourself a good budget for testing ad copy, landing pages, call to action, colors... You'll also need to gather enough data to work on your negative keywords. One non-wanted word that triggers your ads can eat up your whole budget overnight and 23$ is not enough for this one last thing.
Hint: Subscribe to a spying tool, slightly tweak what works for your competitors, at least you won't start from scratch.

According to my notes from 2015 I was converting (a different offer) 1 of every 250 clicks (direct linking). I was spending $12 on Ads to make $26. That was 4 years ago, times have change men

I will keep doing it, but I need a different approach. I will do direct linking this time and spent another $25 bucks and see if I convert at least 1.

In PPC, you can do the same thing with two similar offers and end up with totally different results, and I'm talking "realtime", not 4 years ago. According to your reasoning, driving 10 miles will always get you approximately to the same location in x minutes, but you didn't account for your starting location, the direction you are heading to, and the traffic on your way.

You will need to spend about $250 to see an impact

I don't think people want a free book and they don't trust the email form. I'd rather send them directly to the salespage clickbank and maybe if they are desperate they will buy. I will try that again.

You can't direct link anymore. You have to have your own Sale Page.

What? You just said you consider doing it "again" a few minutes ago and now you are doing it lol.
Anyway, good luck with your next 23$, I hope you have at least 1 email address.

PPC is so nuanced, just to test a campaign you'll need at least a few hundred bucks, and thats assuming your landing page is as tight as possible and as well oriented to the target audience. Testing is for the purpose of eventually optimizing. If anyone could throw a bit of money at a campaign and see conversions everyone would do it.

Try FB ads and you may find some success.
Just target your audience in that niche and from your competetors. I don't know what type of eBook you have. If its something related to a business or service do a video explaining the eBook and how useful it is and highlight that its free.

I spend thousands on adwords and bing my friend. 23 bucks isnt gonna do you anything sinds most clicks are just bounces.

From 200 clicks u would need some conversions specially for email submit.
Most likely bad landing page or suspicious looking url, or you just targeted bad tier and audience.

Its possible you'll get 10 emails with the next 23 bucks you spend.

It's CPC Mate .. you may spend 5$ tomorrow and get 100 emails and 100$ the day after tomorrow and get only 2 emails ..
Cpc require you to spend thousands learning how to make your first few hundreds .

Not true, according to my notes I spent $107 and got $66 in the month of October 2015.

I just don't know the game anymore.
