eBay Dropshipping Journey to $1k/Month

Hows it going fellas,

I am pretty new to dropshipping. I have been reading on it and getting the basics since I was laid off this past October so I finally decided to give it a try after months of procrastinating. These forums helped me a lot so I had to contribute my journey as well!

I started dropshipping about 2 weeks ago and I am finally getting results. I will be dropshipping items from a few different suppliers I have met in other forums from the past years. I have known them before I knew dropshipping exist, crazy!

I am only doing it on eBay since I am new and want to get my feet wet, but I know I have some pretty good products after doing research so I am hoping for the best. I have called eBay to remove the 5 sales per month limit and they increased it to 100 sales or $5k.

Now I am still learning as I go and found out that eBay and paypal hold your funds for 21 days if you are a new seller. This will probably be an issue if I scale, which I definitely will if given the opportunity. I do not have much capital but I am sure I will figure it out once I get there.

Or that's only happening for accounts doing amazon to ebay dropshipping?

I have tried ebay last month but it wasnt doing so good. Although I didnt dropship. I am now left with lots of stocks at home if you want me to send you some - if you dont mind moving to a different niche

All my traffic is from eBay. I take the longest on my titles so I believe that helps me A LOT.

I too read that article and thought the same thing. However when I called to increase the sales allowed per month, they asked me a few questions to make sure I was not dropshipping (but in reality I am, just knew the answers they were looking for)

Thanks bro. EVERYTHING sells on eBay. I like to think I am only selling because my price is noticeably cheaper than the other competitors due to my suppliers.

Appreciate all the replies. I had a few more sales over the weekend as expected. This is pretty fun lol just wish I started earlier and wasn't so hesitant in the first place!

They are good numbers, and your margins are good also.

Do you have to manually place the orders with the suppliers?

Are they fully aware of what you are doing?

And do they send the items without their own branding, or doesn't it matter?

Am. New but all the AliExpress drop shipping tutorials av read shows that ion need to buy physical products that oberlo will do everything automatically that I just need to setup a store.. Is that true?????
