Skype lagging

Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with their skype lagging? I had a business deal all set up and there were no notifications given that I had a message. And the person got upset with me because they said they can not work with someone who does not answer them. My settings are not off either. Anyone else find that it is lagging at getting messages to come in?

Using proxy with skype with invalid DNS(Remote Name Resolution), it creates lag of even hours.

I think this should turn off notification but will not result in lag.

I am not having any problems or lags in skype.

Are you sure you're on the latest Skype update?

working perfectly in mobile but there is always lagging for the desktop version after the latest update.

You can use web version of skype as temp. fix.
