Indexed but not Submitted in sitemap?

Hi Guys,

I have a doubt. i have added one of my webpage in XML sitemap long time before.

But now in new console its showing as "Indexed but not Submitted in sitemap". How to resolve this issue???

Can anyone help me out of this

Your sitemap doesn't update automatically?

Try pinging your sitemap to google like following:

www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ping?sitemap=http://www.example.com/sitemap.gz

Most of the cmses do that automatically these days (some need plugins).. What script are you using?

We have other teams that we request them to upload. I guess they r doing manual updation

If you are using Wordpress then Yoast plugin has the sitemap feature in-built.

But I want to know y its showing not added in sitemap though its added already

May be the G crawler crawled your new page (and the sitemap) before you could update the sitemap. Check the logs.

Guys

I think i found the issue an direct fix.

Actually thats is my separate product and i was added in another sitemap list.

But if we want to get this issue resolved, we have to add in direct main domain sitemap.xml

Am trying this now. WIll let you know ASAP if i fix the issue....
