A bit clueless with current life....not sure where to move to....

Before I start, let me tell you, I am not at my teens, so not repenting or complaining about life at gross. But I am standing on an edge where I am getting succumbed because of my own wrong decisions in my life. To cut the long story short, going through a broken relationship, financially bankrupted, mother aged and bed-ridden with huge financial responsibility. Only positive thing is, I know how to build WP sites and built a lot for many clients. Unfortunately, I am not the one who connected the client and grabbed the project, so I am standing with no clients at the moment. I have built a few dropshipping sites for my own with a wish to promote someday to make passive money. I am completely financially broken, only left with a very limited resource for my mom's treatment. But I am positive and I know things will turn up best for me soon.

Please, if this post is not appropriate here, please do not be rude. Kindly delete the post if inapplicable. If you, anyone of you, can tell me what I can do to start again, I would be really thankful. I am just clueless and confused about where I can start again. I cannot go outside, as my mother needs me by her side, though she is taking cared by 24/7 caregiver.

Hey man, tough spot you are in right now but try to keep going, there are surely going to be better times. I would reccomend you do the thing you are most succesfull with, building WP sites.
Have you tried getting leads on Fiverr or Upwork or something? Another Idea might be trying to find a partner here, who can get the leads for you
and you do the programming and split the money afterwards.

You could create a web design freelance site with a portfolio and then begin contacting local businesses who could benefit from Wordpress sites

If you have a droppshipping website already built, try facebook ads. They seem to work really great if done correctly. My advice for fb ads - work using ad sets

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. The only thing you can do is keep on keeping on, I guess. Sit down and plan things out. Write down what you want to be, then create a plan to get there. Then, break each step into actionable chunks. Start with researching your competitor's portfolios and try to outdo them with your own. Get on Upwork, Fiverr, or post what you're offering on BHW. In the meantime, you can try to find jobs through networking with acquaintances. Good luck!

On topic: If I was in your situation, I would try to get a physical job first. Web development jobs are really easy to find. Once you are on your feet and can save some money per month, think about your growth as a freelancer/business. Salary would be a much better option for you right now.

On a positive side, I got a surprised order from a personal reference and yes, I am planning to invest on FB ads soon. Last night, I have opened my seller account at Fiverr, yet not very sure what to put on offer and its price. But I will do something fast I am sure.

Yup, as said on top, I got a surprised order from someone. It's a small business site, local but it's fun to get one.

Yes, I am. Getting out for a job will be my last resort as my mom is completely bed-ridden with some issues. Though she has 24/7 caregiver with her, but she needs me all the time with her. I can't leave her alone unless I could try my best to find other way out. Thanks a lot for your words.

Hmm that's tough situation. Still, if you ever need a job and you are from Kolkata, I might be able to forward your cv to a couple of companies that I have worked in before (i hope that's not against the bhw terms because it is a physical job, not an online job).
