it seems that some boys follow and unfollow only big accounts that aren't going to follow back, but maybe they going to appear at the top of the followers? or there is some other reason I can't tell.

Additional exposure i assume, by appearing on the top you increase the number of people who are going to see you and (presumably) follow you.

So is it better than follow/unfollow ? since you can do it for 100-200 accounts only every 2 days. much less actions, and followers reach you before you them (I think it is better engment)

When you follow big accouts you will automatically receive follows of other accounts botting.

but isn't the idea or not having botting account following you however, that sounds counter-effective.
