is .net extensions worth or not?

As, I am interested in buying few domains with extension .net

Do you all think, is it worth to buy or not with reason why to buy and why not to buy.

(All the domains are rich keywords with value of around 10$ per add click and 10k-100k visitors click per month.

With the stats you mentioned(10$ per add click and 10k-100k visitors click per month) .net extension is definitely worth. We all know .edu and .org are always on high priority but for SEO purposes .com and .net are on the same priority level, infact .net is supposed to be more SEO friendly extension.

Personally .Net, .Info, .Org etc are all fine, it partly depends on the site though too. If the site is good looking, nice theme, great content etc the TLD won't matter as much.

If you do go ahead with it, please come back and update as to how it pans out for you.

Depression and mental-illness sites are a lost cause imo, as the first pages are dominated by suicide prevention gov sites.

Yes, .net is probably the second best extension after .com. Actually, What matter is to choose a short domain name, unique content and themes because not much difference in terms of SEO benefits either.

In terms of seo domain extension doesn't matter but for branding .com would be the 1st choice

.net is absolutely worth it if .com isn't available. Google doesn't discriminate against TLD's

.net works good because it will rank for "network" naturally eg. tennisrecruiting.net is the tennis recruiting network
