i will not deny that there may be forces that are unknown to us ( several science fiction plots are revolved around a theory saying we cannot see it due to us not having reached another way of processing the world around us, aka limited by the brain)
However, i do think that people heavily underestimate the power of our brain. Mainly, the power of the subconscious. Notice that if you plant an idea into a person ( lets say, the person has seen a shitload of horror/stories around it, basically, planting a seed in his subconscious) That guy will be the one to tell you he had ghost activity in the house. Because the part of your mind that you cannot actively see, puts all that stuff into place.
That's why so many get successful books are filled with tips on how to make your subconscious learn certain things in order for you to have a successful mindset.
I believe this is what makes most questionable stories from people possible. I don't think a person who saw a ghost, or thinks hes cursed, lies, i think their subconscious planted that and processes it constantly to make it out to be.
How did i come to this conclusion? Well, just look at where the most stories come from.
For example:
People of the faith, always got a few in them that claims they saw god, or an act of him. But they invested all their time and FAITH, into the belief of a god. They literally did the practices people use to train their subconscious ( but they did it without knowing it) Therefore, making it possible in their reality ( mind playing tricks man, stuff is powerful. That's why so many successful people practise.)
