Hi! I'm a personal brand musician and I have over 6k on IG without ever buying any followers. I have some tours and music coming out this year along with some music videos.

I think having over 10K is a good staple for being able to grow organically once you get over that benchmark.

I was thinking about buying a drip service to get over the 10k hump before my music is released. Are there any down sides to this? Can anyone recommend a good service they have used and will vouch for? I don't want to release music / videos / tours when I have under 10k followers and I think with how I'm getting between 600-2k likes per photo, what's most important to me is getting over that 10k mark now since I think my engagement is fine. Likewise, I don't need great engagement since I'm not doing any product advertisements. Just as long as I don't have 12k followers and getting only 100 likes per photo

ahaha!

Help a girl out and let me know!

After the 10k Mark I would like to do daily IG growing through maybe something like Combin that is NOT a bot and would not put my account at risk. Combin just looks like a good option for targeting content to interact with for an hour or two each day.

you can do freestyle one of your songs you don't have plan to release (it's not good enough, or its short, ...)
I've seen a very young rapper got 1m+ followers on youtube and 100k ig just by releaseing professional freestyles.

I'm looking to just get my follower count up while doing exactly what I am now.

It depends what you are after, if you're just looking for increased followers then you can buy them. If you are looking at this for the long run and want a lasting page, you'll either have to buy shoutouts etc. Or just wait.

Well since I'm going to blow up in music I'm not worried so much about engagement right now. I have good engagement for an account that would have around 10k followers but I only have 6k followers. I'm not looking to monetize or anything. It's for personal brand music which accounts like mine don't really get larget than maybe 100k at some point organically through the music scene.

Strategy would be to buy drip to just over 10k and then hold that while I release music / videos and the organics of the music scene should take over from there.
