Hello BHW Ninjas! This is my second journey here, I hope to make it this time. I didn't achieve any of my goals in 2018 when it comes to SEO and other things because of laziness. I have new goals this year and one of them is creating five successful websites. I decided to document everything here, to motivate myself and help other members here with everything I know.

# Website 1:

I have this website for two years now, I try to make an authority site, but I fail, the last August update slapped the site, I think it is because of health-related articles that I added recently, I rank some of these keywords to the first page, then after the update, everything disappears from page one. Now I try to recover and scale. Its monetized with Amazon only, I will add more monetizations methods later when I got some good traffic.

Plan:

- More relevant content to the website, and some supporting articles for each buying guide.
- More relevant backlinks to the site and pages. (Guest posts and Infographics)
- I got some traffic from Pinterest, so I need to pin more articles there.
- I have some videos on youtube, so I will upload more, I hope to get 1000 views per day from these videos.

Goal:

- 100 Articles. (30% Buying Guides and 70% How-to Guides)
- 50K visits.
- 2K per month.

# Website 2:

The goal of this website is to make sales on Clickbank, but I only got one. This time I want to monetize it with ads, so I will change the plan a little bit, and creating more content based on what other big accounts are uploading out there. I will try some niches until I find the best one. I already found some big accounts with more than 2M monthly viewers, and I take some notes about their content, pins, and boards. The good thing about this niche is that I don't need backlinks, I will focus only on Pinterest and maybe facebook.

Plan:

- Create 10 to 15 articles for the first niche, if it gets some engagements, then upload more.
- I didn't try group boards for a while, so I will search for some of them just to test.
- After I get the content, I will start uploading two pins per day.

Goal:

- 100 Articles.
- 100K visits.
- 2K per month.

# Website 3:

I didn't create the website yet, but I will create it on the same niche as the first website, I found some easy keywords (I think), this time I need to focus only on low and easy keywords, and after I get some authority I will jump to big keywords.

Plan:

- In the first Month, I will start with some How-to Guides and 2-3 buying guides.
- Create social media profiles.
- For backlinks, I will start with web 2.0 and some comments.

Goal:

- 70-80 articles. (30% Buying Guides and 70% How-to Guides)
- 15k visits.
- 1K per month.

# Website 4 & 5:

For the rest websites I didn't know what niche to choose, but I think all that depends on the first three websites, if everything goes well, I will create a second Pinterest site and one more amazon niche site.

Things to Do Each Month:

- 5-10 Articles for each weabsite. (Outsourced)
- 2 Pins for each article.
- Web 2.0 and comments for third site.
- Links for the first website.

Consistency is the thing I aim for. I hope to make it this time. I will post each time I got something done. I didn't explain my plan really well, but I will do that in the the next updates. Feel free to ask any questions.

Let's do it.

They do say 'don't prioritize scheduling, schedule the priorities'

Time is the condition - If you put in the time, you will get the results.

Try 30min/day on each site, you'll fine tune your managerial skills. Do this for a month, & looking forward to keeping up with your thread.

Watched  Keep it up

Good luck! Got some questions though.

"the last August update slapped the site, I think it is because of health-related articles that I added recently, I rank some of these keywords to the first page, then after the update, everything disappears from page one"
1. Does that mean having health related articles gets you penalty? Please let me know.

2. Are you writing for your own articles?

Good luck. Couple of questions,

  1. Do you have a month/date set for when you would like to hit 5k?
  2. Do you have any smaller milestones set to keep you motivated?
  3. What traffic do each of these sites currently get?

Hope you can make it, that would be an amazing achievement.

Another journey containing amazon affiliates, oh how I love reading those :3

Anyway I wish you all the best, as you wrote at the end I believe consistency is the best thing to aim at, as it is about the only one you can directly influence.

On the first site are the money articles products reviews or do you just drop your aff links in the text? Also how much content do you have and what traffic does it get?

Cheers and best of luck

Thanks for your advice :) It's really hard for me to focus on one thing for like 1 hour or 30 min, but I will try my best.

Seems like a solid plan! Hope you will take actions since scaling is boring af lol
Good luck.

Thanks. I need to recover first then scale :D.

1) What I want to say is that after I published some health topics to the website the relevance for the whole site changed, and it impacts my authority in the niche I'm in. To answer your question, the "medic update" doesn't target health sites only. You need to read more about Medic update to get and idea and to safeguard your website from next updates. What I try to do now with the first website is to make content more relevant as John Mueller suggest.

2) Outsourced

1. Yes. I hope to achieve it this year, so 31 December.
2. Yes, for earnings: 250 > 500 > 1500 > 2000 same with traffic.
3. The first 10 days this month I got 140 users (organic and social) per day for the first website and 8 per day (social) for the second one, for the third website I didn't create it yet.

Thanks for the encouragement :)

Thanks Man :)

The structure of my money articles ( Top 10 best ) is 10 product reviews, a buying guide and some useful information related to the product in general.

Following! I would also suggest YouTube as a traffic source something like BassTrackerBoats is offering: http://linkpushing.net/category/local-seo/
There was a thread where a guy was banking using YouTube slides but YT removed that.

Looks good to me, keep updating the thread I would love to see your progress as time goes on. :)

What percentage of the success rate of this method?

5 sites will be boring for updates

Yes, youtube is an excellent source of traffic, but those videos take a lot of time to produce.

I wish you success. I hope it goes the way you want.

Best of luck

Best of luck for your Journey

Really interesting, keep it up bro

Thanks Guys :)

I don't understand your question very well. Yes, it will be challenging to update 5 sites, but I only have three now.

Update:

# Website 1:

I still get 150 users per day from bing, Yahoo and Pinterest. Most of the buying guides are not in the top 100. I only get 5-10 visits from some health keyword. I think I will deindex those pages from google and see what's going to happen.

I shared 5 new articles for Relevance, and 10 supporting articles. I shared the new articles on Pinterest, I also repin some old ones.

january Earnings: 91$

Next step: I will not spend any more money on this website, so no more articles no videos. I think I will only deindex the health-related articles.

# Website 2:

I decided to left that website and create a new one. Why? Because I found a great niche and I want to have a website just for it. This what I did, I bought a new domain installed Wordpress with a new theme. I have an old Pinterest account with 10k+ followers, so I deleted the old boards, change the name, create a logo, create new boards and with the help of my friend he started repinning other websites content.

When I get the content, I will share 3 pins per week, and continue repinning, Until I have some viewers to my profile, Then only share my website's articles with 1 or 2 pins from other sites.

# Website 3:

I got 9 articles from the writer but I only like 4, so I will schedule the 4 articles for the next days, and share them on Pinterest and other social media accounts.

# Website 4, 5 & 6:

We have 3 more old Pinterest accounts, so I will edit everything on these accounts as I did with the website #2, we will only repin other peoples content. Each account has a different niche.

Ok guys, this is a small update, nothing impressive, But I will continue working on these websites and Pinterest accounts until I achieve the target.

Thanks :)

Small Update:

Hi Guys! Sorry for not updating a lot.

website #1:

I deindexed some of the health-related pages, I think its work because some keywords started ranking again, seriously I don't know if it's the deindexation effect or a google update. I get 200 visits per day now from Pineterst, Bing, Yahoo, and Google. Amazon earnings still low. I hope to get more traffic from Google to increase sales and earnings.

February Earnings: 60$

website #2:

The traffic starts coming into the website, sometimes I get more than 200 visits per day and sometimes 100 visits, nothing stable at this moment, but we keep pinning to our boards and repinning to group boards as well.

Earnings: I just added some ads just for test.

Websites #3 #4 #5:

Nothing :suspicious:

what's Next:

I will focus on the second website until I get some steady traffic something like 1500 visits per day, then I will create a new site for one of the Pinterest accounts we have (I have three more accounts in different niches).

I will order more articles for Site #2, maybe increasing the number of pins we share on Pinterest.

You can post your questions about Pinterest, I will try my best to answer.
