Hello from a Tumblr outcast

Hi everyone,

I'm new here but not to the life, I've been running a whole bunch of adult Tumblr blogs for years. Sadly I only had the time and experience to start my own Wordpress site last month and have been hit quite heavily by the nsfw ban that basically rendered my 300+ blogs with 2 million followers pretty much worthless.

I'm now driving all the followers I can to Twitter and grow my own Wordpress site, it's been doing well but could be a lot better because my Twitter account (only one for now) has just passed a thousand followers. I'm doing my best but I hope to find some people here with big adult Twitter accounts that are interested in working with me, I want to grow back to where I was with Tumblr but I know it will take time and investment because I failed to diversify before I had no other choice.

Anyway, Hi and you'll probably read a bit more from me in the future, I have learned a few things here and there that might be worth posting a journey about.

Welcome! You aren't the first or last, don't be discouraged. Have you looked at transferring your content to another gif site? Something like makeagif?

Yes thank you. I was already working on diversifying but I was too slow and didn't really put that much effort into it between other things I'm doing so I was overtaken by the wave

I'm looking at alternatives, I just found out that cumblr finally started (even though it slooooow) and testing a couple other sites but so far I haven't found anything perfect.

It used to be a fun place and a real goldmine in 2016 and 2017, but 2018 it got harder and harder to work on there until it became impossible.

Welcome, good luck with growing a following there. It sucks for all the people who lost huge tumblr followings, my condolences.

Thank you, Tumblr really shot themselves in the foot with this one. Now it's going to be just whiny social media keyboard warriors and even they take offense at the female-presenting-nipples restriction (what kind of terminology is that even lol).
