BHW Forum Style Is Old, Time For An Upgrade

When I joined this forum, I really don't like the whole look and feel. Meanwhile I explore and found tons of interesting information and very good rules.

Now I used too and love to work with this forum.

I would prefer Infinite Scrolling on the Homepage, currently it's limited to 49 posts (i guess), but it would be cool to just scroll down to see fresh discussions from various sections.

I actually like that idea... not sure infinite is the best way to go but a "longer" main page would make my life easier.

I'm part of many forums, more BH than this. The black setting and gold work well with your eyes. Also this is the MOST "friendly and colorful" forum I use.

BHW IS a great mix of newbies and their first monetizing techniques, and seasoned veterans. The amount of help and learning that occurs on this forum from member to member is unreal. I believe that to be one of the biggest reasons people enjoy being here. But if you changed it and made it even MORE colorful and BRIGHTER people would get annoyed.

You ever pull 3 nights straight coding or setting up proxies just to finish a project?

It's not fun to come here for help or resources and be blasted by a more "updated" forum style

I only wrote this in hopes of BHW not changing.

I guarantee most people would complain about the change. It always happens no matter what website. The people that were there prior hate it and the people that come after love it.

On top of that, the development costs for such a change are pretty high.

BHW is fine the way it is.

I still miss the original design lol. The forum is perfectly usable as-is, but 2.0 will be exciting. Hopefully it feels the same and doesn't clutter things up just for the sake of being "new"

Never mind if they change the theme or not but it would be better if they replace old moderators and give a chance for new persons. So, we can get a chance to moderate new projects and learn new things. Or even keep the old moderators and choose some persons randomly and give a chance.

Learning new things, or post new information has nothing to do with moderators!

Current BHW black/gold version is pretty cool, yeah, but I understand those who don't like it.
It's a rarely used color theme that, let's face it, isn't the very best option when it comes to how "easy" it is on your eyes. Some threads are long, some people spend a lot of time reading around, and when I read for longer, the letters start getting aura-effect, and it just takes a bit extra effort on my face muscles.

Would love a simplified "reading" skin or something along those lines on 2.0 that's optimized for reading/better eye comfort for long threads and late hours. Cheers!

Let it as it is since we are okay with it like that the changes may be some new sections or new memberships levels but I like it as it is now

it would be great if the recent threads are not only prohibited to the first page but continues to for instance 5 of those pages. This way we can browse through all the recent threads beyond page one and find many more recent threads that have been updated.

I agree 100% - Sometimes I come on and just want to see what new information has been posted/questions have been posed, and with it being limited to just 1 page it limits the exposure to those newer posts. For example, sometimes you might have someone searching for a certain thing.. and they've replied to 7 - 8 different threads in a matter of 5 minutes, and thats already taking up 15-20% of the recent posts on the front page. That was a great suggestion.

i like the black style.. its that old school touch but a reworked lighter version with modern and hip design would be cool too. waiting for bhw 2.0
