i have tried the above and this site - https://www.sslforfree.com/ before and they work very well.

most of the hosting companies offer free ssl cert when you host to them.

True, but they do have a traffic limit and you have to direct your URL threw them... that never sat right with me.

Where did you get this info? Im using free cloudflare ssl and my site has already 3M request in a week and nothing happens.

Most of the hosts these days have Letsencrypt integrated, which will get you a free SSL

Yep, another vote for LetsEncrypt. Some hosts are a bit of a nightmare with the integration, but there are tutorials out there for getting it setup for many hosts.

Side note: Don't forget to fix any calls to http:// assets. Using a plugin like Really Simple SSL - if on Wordpress - will help push everything to https:// and ensure you don't get any warnings in Chrome etc.

There are free ssl providers you can try. Sslforfree is one of them. But my advice go for paid one as they care lot about security.
