Hello!

Few days ago I started searching for niche, writing down my plan to first time try Amazon Affiliate. I've been reading hell lot of information about SEO, been using a little bit practically, but right now it will be massive work to get to 1000$/month in 6 months.

I want to ask - does the hosting have any impact on the SEO rankings? I understand that it might have some effect on website's speed. Is there anything I should look out while buying hosting or I can easily go with some basic namecheap shared hosting?

Thanks!

Absolutely!

Search your keyword in Google and copy the URLs of the first 20 results and 91-100(Page 10).

Test all these URLs load time in https://gtmetrix.com and https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/.

You can then conclude yourself by analysing the results.

or I can easily go with some basic namecheap shared hosting?

Yes if you won't/don't rely on Search Engine traffic.

Me and few of my clients from BHW are several years ahead in terms of hosting technology stack and that's one reason for us to dominate the Top 3 spot in Google. We host the sites on custom-setup VPS and not on shared/dedicated cPanel hosting.

In my opinion, these are a few things you should look when you buy a new hosting package:
1. SSD.
2. LiteSpeed WebServer.
3. Cloudflare + w/Railgun
4. MariaDB

Yes, server speed have a major impact on your website SEO, and Google knows it and use this in your website favour or not.

Is there any way you could share some information about it? To get on the track to do it myself?

What @Ricky.Montana suggested is similar to what I'd recommend as well. Find a hosting which offers all the features/technologies shown on https://spdywp.com and no I'm not a hosting service provider.

No. Hosting does not affect SEO. Speed and uptime are obviously pretty important to your site but most of the top brands have similar quality. I personally use digital ocean since there's a lot more flexibility. I can SSH into the box, create a droplet within minutes, etc...

Hosting have a big influence on your website speed, so on your website SEO.

I understand and agree. What I said was that the top brands like SiteGround, inmotion hosting, hostgator all have similar speed. Speed is also heavily determined by the creator. The difference is negligible. You can probably just go with any of the top brands and be fine. It's not really something to worry about when launching an affiliate site.
