I'm new to white hat and/or black hat anything. Just trying to get my feet wet so I can (eventually) leave my 9-5 and not have to deal with getting yelled at all the time.
Welcome to the forum.
Make the most of your 9-5 as it pays the bills. Find your way around the forum and learn as you go along. Find one avenue that you want to concentrate on, run it in your free time and once you are consistently earning enough to seriously consider quitting the 9-5, then that is the next phase.
