Aye, I want to sell some cheap writing services (not here tho) around the internet, English only.
Now, how can I do this? What are the best platforms, I want to brand myself as a person and to always have some work to do? I'm not some kind of professional writer but I have experience and I can provide services for quite cheap to make around $100 a day which I find satisfying. Where should I start and etc?

Thank you very much!

Alright, just registered on upwork. I'm curious, do I have a chance in those sites with such competition?
And what the fees are? Will they cut a huge part of my profit or what

Hey OP, I'm kinda in the same boat as you. Decided to get serious about content writing in 2019. Outside of freelancing sites mentioned above, you can try to come into contact directly with agencies in need of your services, or even individuals who create a lot of websites and need that sweet content from 1 reliable dude with 1 distinctive style and standard.
You can try building a portfolio-type website in service of showcasing your very best work, and then try to promote it via forums/reddit, maybe quora, social media, linkedIn in particular etc.
Cold emails/messages to aforementioned people with a sample of your work and a warm message of desire to benefit the party can be a step too. You'll get ignored and rejected in overwhelming amount of cases but it can be worth the lucky break at the end.
Applying for any and all writing jobs on ad sites goes without saying if you become desperate, but I encourage you to be picky at first.
Know your worth, be genuine.
Good luck.

idk fees but yes, you have chance, my friend started programming 3 months ago and he hit 10k now monthly ;)

your skills aren't unique but you can earn a lot

I have written on upwork before and I think you should try and become a professional on a few related topics. I myself know a lot about real estate so I brand myself as writing only about real estate. If someone comes to me and asks to write about something that I don't know about I will not write about it. Partially because I am not good at it, (I would hate to get negative feedback) and the time that would take to study the new subject wouldn't justify the pay. If you are truly a pro at one thing then you possibly charge more, but you will get less work. I would always write the best cover letter and reason to hire you that I could possibly write. Don't ever get in a price war, no one wins. I charge a lot of money to write, but I think I am one of the best in the world on real estate writing. Someone will always be cheaper than me, but what does a cheap article get you in traffic? Google wants great articles, not a bunch of trash. In the end, you are selling SEO articles, not a bunch of random words on a computer screen.

Thats just my 2 cents

Here is what you can probably do.

- Write blog articles on your niche like ( 5 ways to write any content in any niche ) i.e, what your potential customer want to do.

- Now promote this article on social media on fb,insta, pinterest(great though).

But wait where do I promote yourself by just writing a blog?

Here is how you do it.
Whenever you are writing blog mention the point like "or hire me to write your content"
