Hey, really excited to be here!

I recently sold an Instagram network with a little over a million followers and will be using the funds to kick start an ecommerce store. I plan on documenting my journey on BHW to keep myself accountable.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys :)

You don't have to answer that, but just out of curiosity, how much did you get for the network?

Where you sold them?
I sold them on Instagram to others running large pages in the same niche. Selling the accounts was pretty easy considering I already had a strong relationship with the buyers (we met through an engagement group early on).

We sold the network for $10,000 after all the accounts were simultaneously hit with a shadow ban (risky niche). I had a business partner at the time so we each walked away with $5,000.

Not bad, considering the accounts got shadow banned. At least you got something out of it.

Good luck OP. I'm thinking about selling my network too. Just can't get enough time to manage it anymore.

How did you grow your network?
I used a bunch of common tactics such as: shout outs, engagement groups, follow/like bots, hashtags, giveaways, collaborations, ect.

Most importantly, I found viral content and posted it frequently.

I feel you, finding content and posting on all the accounts can be really time consuming. I had the same issue myself so I programmed a python script and trained a virtual assistant to automate most of the process. That may be an option if you want to keep the accounts.

Newbie question: what bot was you using to manage your network?

I stopped using a follow/like bot early on after my pages started to gain some traction and grow organically. However when I did, I used instazood :)

Wtf only 10k for a million followers? Those accounts must have been quite the garbage. With a million followers account with good engagement and a good niche u earn that amount each month.

Edit: don't mean to be offensive just shocked that you basically gave it away

The accounts were very high quality prior to the shadow ban. After the shadow ban, their engagement decreased by 70% and we went from gaining over five thousand followers a day to losing followers each month. After we realized what had happened, we found a buyer and cut our losses quick. Like I said earlier, the niche was high risk to begin with.

Yea will have to find a script for this!

Do you plan to use IG to promote your ecommerce store?

Yeah I plan on working with influencers to create content and run sponsored posts to promote products on the store. I also plan on growing my own IG network in the niche I choose.
