Problem with private nowadays

Hello guys,

I make my meme page profile as all the other memes page.

When I change to public to accept all the follow requests, I get this new message:

Yea this started about 1-2 months ago depending what region of the world you're in.

They are trying to keep pages from always switching back and forth between private and public. Many private pages used the tactics like "hurry and follow @memes - accepting next 100 only!!" etc.

I've always had public pages, so I wouldn't know if being private works any better. I'm guessing at one point in time it was very effective, and now IG has caught on and has put an end to it just like everything else they think is "unauthentic" yada yada yada.

In my opinion they no longer care about their users despite their BS claims of we are "keeping our community safe" - they are simply trying to make money by limiting the growth of big pages who are not buying their worthless "sponsored" ads, and are posting shoutouts on their own pages.

And they are trying to maximize the revenue brought in from their advertisers....thanks Facebook!

I am so tired from all the sh*t they are doing.
Now I can't accept any of follow request because I am on "Limit".

In addition, my reach insights got down with 40-60k on average. What a shame.

try and give it a rest for a few days and see if you can accept a load then. Have you tried just leaving it for a while then trying to do it from your 4g connection. Works sometimes for me

I tried to leave it and do it from my 4g. It was working for 10-20 follow requests.
I really don't know what to do.

Should I change my profile to public? I am afraid that all the follow requests will be deleted as Instagram says on the popup.
