Hi Guys,
I am looking trough Google Play's terms but i can not find the exact answer on my question so i figured i'd try it here. Maybe some one has experience with this.
I want to build a game where there is a free giveaway system included. Yet i am not sure if this is fully allowed by Google Play and unfortunately i can not find it anywhere. Before i start developing i want to be 100% sure.
The setup would be like:
Users play the game and get "raffle tickets". Each 24 hours there is a raffle where they can use their raffle tickets. These raffle tickets can not be bought with real money but are earned by playing for free.
The raffle gives away real physical prices with no additional costs for the users.
I personally think this is a very thin line between gambling and not. I once found a game that gave away real prices by players who played a mini-game. The one with the highest score would win the price. They even sold extra tickets to participate for real money. This game is still live after months and has over 1M downloads. At that point i am pretty sure that they are allowed to do it or the app should be gone by now.
Any one here having experience with this? As far as i know Google also allows real pay outs in the form of gift cards and stuff. Which really makes me doubt it all.
Thanks in advance.
