Just couldn’t hold back myself from sharing this.. so recently i notice group of people saying they spent $$$ on Facebook ads but didn’t get a sale on their Shopify store.. also saw another thread where the poster asking is it too late or worth trying to Shopify & Facebook?

Alright before answering or clarifying these questions base on my knowledge, experience, expertise & understanding.. please understand the days of opening Shopify store, cloning product from aliexpress and putting ads on Facebook is almost or absolutely over.. past is past.. so what works on past is past.. in this thread i am going to share what is working at the moment..

So if you are new and thinking of opening a store using Shopify or other ecom platform then yes it’s possible to make good money.. but its not as easy as it use to be few years ago.. if you want to make money (for simplycity let say Shopify) then you need build a brand. You must make sure everything looks as much professional and reliable possible. That includes but not limited to nice clean looking theme.. if possible I strongly advise to invest on paid theme. Apps includes but limited to currency converter especially if you’re planning to sell internationally, optin app, notifyer to create some credebiliy & trust for the potential buyer..

Previously also i forget to mention should use custom domain instead of domain.myshopify.com which looks quite unreliable and definitely less trustworthy compare to domain.com

And also you need app for product reviews.. which is quite essential ingredient.. anyone willing to purchase most of the time look for reviews..

For shopify you can create free store using partners shopify (click here for the method).. please note if you create using partners shopify its free for 50 sales.. after you get 50 sales then you need to sign for their monthly payment.. also another limitation is you cannot install any paid apps.. free apps like oberlo is ok..

Also i just recently found out if you register from country philippines then shopify monthly fee is only $14 per month instead of $29.. i am not from philippines so i tried using philippines proxies and register for shopify and yes it works fine.. but then you need to come up with payment solution to make the monthly payment.. you need use your blackhat skill to come up for a payment solution.. its definitely worth the effort if you want to save $29 - $14 = $15 per month.. but then again please note if you register from philippines then you won't be eligible for shopify stripe.. as stripe is not available for philippines..

Before i go further i must clarify this thread is focus on shopify if you are using other platform then you may still refer to this thread. This thread will definitely complement any ecommerce store no matter what platform you use.

Anyway i will stop here until i see some comments below.. there is no point for me to continue this thread unless i know the information i am sharing is helpful for this community.. my intention is to share something that is valuable to the community if not then no point wasting my time & effort to continue this thread.. so i will be pausing this thread.. also moderator may close or delete this thread if they think the information i have shared so far is not much of value able and also nothing new/unique.. so whoever check this thread so far i like to thank them and like to apologize at the same time if after reading it you felt as if you have wasted your value able time.. i tried my best to give real value able in this thread.. but what i think value able may not necessary be valuable to other..

ok before i continue part 3 let me clarify this method i am sharing require money.. this is not free money making method.. this method require money to make money..

so to start.. we will be opening shopify store using their partner program so no shopify monthly fee for now.. also we will not be using using any paid apps for now..

But we need to spend about $10 on domain.. no need hosting as shopify is hosting the store for us.. for pointing the domain to shopify which is quite straight forward but in case if not sure then google or ask shopify chat support to help.. shopify has 24/7 chat support so make use of that as much as possible..

also get a nice logo.. if you're not a designer then definitely designing logo yourself is bad idea.. spend some $$ to get a nice logo done.. you get get one from marketplace here or order once from fiverr.. will cost around $10 - $20 worth it..

So now we have shopify store and custom domain also pointing to to our store.. now lets install theme.. i highly recommend using paid theme.. i like Retina-Asutin theme.. which will cost like $180 but worth it.. its a simple clean looking theme.. but you can go for other theme.. you may even ask shopify chat support for their advice on theme.. their support is quite friendly..

Ok so now we have installed theme on our store as well.. so time to create pages like.. About Us, FAQ, Privacy Policy, Terms of service, Refund policy, Contact Us.. i wont go much details about how to create or what to write... just look for other shopify store and simple copy paste from them... there are also lot of tutorial on youtube..

Ok so now pages are ready.. time for product research and import product to our brand new store.. when it comes to product research i dont waste my time and effort on research product manually.. manual research is time consuming and also make it impossible to find winning product..

Anyway i can also share few free ways to research product manually if there enough request from comment below.. but its not worth the effort trust me.. there are guru out there they advice manual research and they have their reason but the strategy i am about to share you need spend on spy tool.. without the spy tool it will be almost impossible to find winning product.. unless you have very good product research skill with some sixth sense..

the strategy i am about to share is what i am doing and what is currently working for me.. so its tried and tested by myself and also up to date.. this same strategy you can apply on 2019.. you should be good to go..

Now when starting and you have no idea about niche.. its absolute ok.. because we are going to build general niche store.. when when buying domain it must be generic domain name..

dont buy cutecatshop.com or dogfoodstore.com or kitchenwaremart.com because it will be niche focus

instead buy something like this adogear.com or poptrend.com or popdeals.com or wikideals.com or popgear.com i hope got the idea

the reason we will open a generic store so we can sell anything under the sun.. once you we know what works and what sell the best then we will start to open a niche store that could be using shopify or using clickfunnel.. for simplicity purpose lets not go into too details about niche store..

But just for info if you get too comfortable and do not want to open a niche store thats fine too.. because you can still make very good money with generic store only.. niche is to create a brand and also make it easier to upsell.. generic store is fine as well.. so no need worry so much..

Now just for motivation.. you may ask how much can you make.. the answer is sky is the limit.. with ecom you can make a lot of money with right strategy, effort and mindset.. you do everything right you will keep on making money day after day.. you do things wrongly then you will get no sale or few sale/sales after spending $$$ on either facebook or adwords or other advertsing platform and come here crying.. ecom doesn't work.. its saturated.. blah blah..

Too true,this goes for offline as well but it`s so easy online to get suckered into thinking you can succeed for nothing.
Been there and fell for it many a time.Just about getting the balance right.
Maybe i`m wrong but thanks for pointing other stuff out as well.

part 3 is great to read because what you said about general niche store, yes i am with you on that point because most of the newbies don't have idea what can be sell better so that's why in start we should focus on general niche store instead of any specific niche.

Definitely an interesting read, back in the day I did a test for the charcoal black head scrub and it went pretty good - no huge sales but was definitely a learn experience for sure.

alright lets begin.. so lets assume our store is ready.. so we will be using oberlo app which is free app developed by shopify if i am not wrong.. but rest assured its free.. so we will be using oberlo app to import product from aliexpress to our shopify store.. i will share more later about this later.. but for now take note we will be using oberlo app to import product from aliexpress to our shoipify store..

for product research we will be
using spy tool.. as said in part 3 no point wasting time & effort doing product research manually which will take forever to find winning product.. will talk about spy tools in details as well but before that lets understand the plan here

so we will be driving traffic to our shopify store using facebook paid ads.. another important thing i forget to mention before we running any paid ads we need to ensure we install/integrate the facebook, google analytics and adwords tracking in our shopify store.. installing facebook pixel is very straight forward but if still struggle then go search on google or youtube or even chat with shopify support team.. for adwords its bit complex but give adword support team a call they do the necessary.. just tell them you want install/integrate shopify with adwords..

if you're you new to shopify & facebook and adwords.. no worries.. because i am going to share all essential/important ingredients tools, weapons, tactics, and strategy you need to dominate your ecom business..

ok so base on my own personal experience when i started few months ago.. i thought i will open a shopify store and run facebook ads see money pouring in to my bank account.. i get the inspiration from thread posted by another BHW member "The Ultimate Shopify Guide to Making $100/Day!" so sorry but i won't say the method doesn't work.. but it doesn't work for me.. i didn't a single sale following the method.. its not that simple.. it use to be few years back.. anyway..

so when we are doing shoipify and facebook.. we need to understand.. we will be breaking even or maybe at loss in some cases initially.. but as long we are getting sales and leads we are on the right track.. never expect to make a profit right of the bat.. when we start to our paid advertsing campaign on facebook initially most likely we won't be seeing much/any sale/sales.. the reason behind is the facebook pixel.. those not sure what facebook pixel is may search google or youtube for details about it.. in layman term its bot developed by facebook to optimize ads and also use for retargeting(will be covered later.. very important)..

so when to start to advertise the pixel has no intelligence.. more ads we run over time more intelligence the pixel will become.. as result we will getting more leads and sales.. thats why it is advisable to start with engagement ad 1st followed by website conversion(WC) ad.. we do not want want to spend more than $5 on engagement ad.. just $5 is enough for engagement ad.. let it run for 24 hours.. this will get the facebook pixel some initial intelligence before you run the website conversion ad.. when running website conversion always go set the goal in facebook "purchase".. dont go for add to cart or anything else.. stick with purchase..

the reason behind is when you set goal purchase facebook pixel will do its best to find all the potential buyers who will be more likely to buy from your store.. on the other hand if you set the goal to website click for example facebook pixel will find people who will click on your store.. ok you're getting confused its ok.. it is bit confusing initially.. but as you do it few times yourself you will be a expert and everything will start to make sense.. no i am not going to more into this too details because there is lot of great tutorial on youtube.. just search on youtube you get all the answer regarding this topic..

comment below what you think about the information i have shared so far.. positive comments negative comments all welcome.. lets learn from each other.. i am no guru i am just sharing here what i am doing and what is working for me.. and also i don't think need to feel insecure about sharing knowledge.. base on my own experience i learn you only succeed when you share the knowledge to other people who is on the same boat.. share the knowledge.. discuss.. help each other as much as possible.. be rationale.. take action.. learn from each other.. no point holding back the knowledge.. but off course note to be taken must be rational.. nothing is forever so is method.. the method you holding back because is so precious to you today will most likely be obsolete tomorrow or in near future.. think long term.. so once the method obsolete then what will you do? its your friends, family, co-worker, guru, online friends, online community like blackhatworld can help in those days when you will be broke.. or your method longer valid or works.. what will last forever or for very long time will be your relationship with people which you build over years with your trust and hard work....................

Friend i will definitely share spy tools and other things necessary rest assured and have patience.. need provide the tutorial/method or whatever you want to call step by step.. you copy campaign from spy tools and run ads.. no no its not that simple.. you need to get everything right.. you need to setup everything correct to success.. spy tool does what it suppose to.. it spy other campaigns shop owner are running.. but even after we use spy tool we still need to use our marketing skills and intelligence.. we cannot just anyhow copy paste base on spy tools.. thats where people get it wrong.. there are lot of things need to share.. so i need to share step by step.. to ensure as much as possible the information is clear & easy to understand and digest..

Also those of you're new to shopify and thinking/considering opening take note you should have some monthly budget to success in shopify.. to be on the safe side i would say around $500 - $1000 per month at least to be on the safe side.. to pay for the spy tool and spend on facebook ads...

hope for the best but plan for the worst.. frankly its hard to success in paid advertising especially in the initial stage if you do not have some spare cash..

also if you afraid to lose $500 then this method wont be suitable for you at least for now until you change your mindset or change your financial situation.. let be frank..

you can compare opening online store with offline store..

to open offline shop.. you need to rent a shop.. base on business model.. example general grocery store.. you need buy groceries.. need helper to assist you.. if you do not want to spend extra money on helper then you need to do all by yourself will cost you time and your effort.. everything no matter free or paid has pro and cons.. as a business owner its you who need to decide which route you want to take and which is more suitable for your business.. its maybe a bit off topic.. but its ok nevermind..

opening a shopify store is a real business.. where you are in almost full control.. you also need take care of customer support.. for other online earning method like CPA or affiliate marketing we do not have deal with customer support.. but if you are opening a store with shopify you need treat as real business.. yes because you need to take care of all the things that you will need to take care in any brick and mortar business.. ok thats it.. i dont want to write so much without seeing some comments first.. because i have been in BHW for quite some time and base on experience i know things can change here very fast.. even someone with good intention to help can become victim here anytime.. too much skepticism.. this method doesnt work.. that method doesnt work.. nothing works.. oh no its all saturated.. there are no more money to be made online..
