Tsunami in Indonesia, 222 dead

saw a video where a band was performing at the beach and the people were wiped out instantly. recover fast indo.

Most of those affected lived on the coast. It was a 10ft wave apparently so I think it didn't travel too far in land, thank god.

RIP those who lost their lives, thoughts and prayers.

The tsunami warning did not work because it was suspected being broken, and there was no earthquake which is normally happened before tsunami. Even the geology scientist said it was strange.

There are many victims because the beach is a travel destination, It was full moon, many people were staying close to the beach when it happened.

I heard the news but didn't fully read. But I wonder if Indonesia's government did any warning and help/force people to move out before it hit.:(

a local paranormal activity says it not from a mountain eruption , but says that it was from experimental bomb done by someone who want a chaos in there because it never happen before and it just weird
 
Had plans to shoot over to bali for a month... Think I'll be staying in Thailand haha.
 
Damn, the confirmed death count is now at 281 and rising. Seems like the injured count hit over 1000+ with more dead people to be found.
Tragic.
 
Indonesia has had it rough this year, the September Earthquake was bad enough now this, I hope everyone is alright. :(
