Hey,

Just bought some coins via coinbase website and now I saw that I can't move the coins because its locked for 15 days. my account is fully verified with docs.

Is there any way to speed up things and unlock the coins?

Probably so people can't ditch it over Christmas and completely collapse it.

It thee money of thee future I tell thee.
You are confusing Coinbase with Bitcoin. Substandard trolling micky please try harder ;)

It's all relevant. It's the reason why companies are holding people "money" against their will. Imagine if banks just did the same. Oooo we'll close over Christmas, no spondoolies for you for two weeks.

Banks used to close over Christmas though :anyway:

A bank would quickly freeze your account if they suspected something irregular. Hence my question to the OP. What reason did they give? The rest of what you say is conspiracy nonsence.

I think you have to wait 15 days, write in those. support or call there, maybe you can solve it.

And not allow you to withdraw from the cash point?

Or are you unwittingly trying to compare Bitcoin to a 1800s banking system?

1800s.. LOL no, not THAT old!

No but pre-internet - yes was cash machines but if you lived in a small town (like me) your local branch would be closed on a Saturday so if Christmas fell mid-week you could be without a local bank for 7 days or more. If we had snow you could forget the bank altogether.

Same goes for cheques if you paid in, because of the way holidays fell you could be without your money for 10 or more days.

OK granted bills would be automated anyway, but if i need a bank as much as I needed bread id be screwed.

The internet is a young thing and most if not all of what you can do today you couldn't do 20 or more years ago.

Not saying crypto is the answer for everything - I agree with most of your comments on it but the privileges we have today we did not always have..

How did you buy them? You can only move them right after you buy if you used a debit card.

Well... That happened in Argentina in 2002 xD
