Keyword google search term?

Hello!

I am looking for a software or website (preferably cheap or free) that has recorded records of the search volume for google/bing searches.

I am interested in knowing how many hits certain keywords get. Even phrases would be nice to know. Basically whatever someone can punch in a search bar.

Everybody else has already mentioned and that too rightly so, Google's keyword planner would be best and free tool to serve your purpose. Since its from google so it gives you more accurate information for atleast google searches.

Google keyword planner gives you the better result at least for Google search as compared to other keyword research tool.
It can be used as a free tool, it will give an estimated avg. monthly searches if not paid and can give you near to accurate result of avg. monthly searches if it is paid.

Ahrefs try it. They are offering trail version.

I use keywords everywhere, and then use it with something like keywordshitter if you want to find all the autosuggest keywords that people are typing into the search bar. Keywords everywhere will give you the volume for them. Its free.
