What the hell is going on with chrome and google?

1. Opening google.com is not instant despite having a smooth internet. Crawling takes around 2-3 seconds despite having a smooth internet.

2. FB and any other pages take around 2-3 seconds to open.

3. Overall crawling is slow and bad nowadays.

4. Almost every time I am hit with - We detected an unusual activity so please solve this stupid google captcha in order to proceed.

The extensions that I'm using are ublock, privacy badger, https everywhere, nano defender and grammarly.

I did reset the router and I changed DNS to open dns, cloudfare dns and now back to google dns but same thing. :(

Please advise how to solve this thing and if I need to move onto another browser for getting back the smoothness? What other browser is fast and good?

Thanks in advance.

I use it no problems at all, could be one of the extensions doing it. I use grammarly desktop not extension personally

Everything is fine on my end. Been using Chrome for many years and it's very fast.

Don't u use any adblocker as well as privacy badger?

Same here. U think the privacy badger or the ublock or the nano defender is doing the issue?

Actually Chrome is not that simple browser now as before it was. It takes a lot of RAM (2GB at least) and good amount of CPU processing. I think, any machine that is running on same hardware as back in 2013 aren't quite compatible with latest Chrome version. I am too facing such problems.

Try resetting your profile through the settings (Settings > Advanced > Restore Settings).

If that fails, export your bookmarks and any saved passwords or custom extension settings, rename your profile folder (%localappdata%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default), and relaunch Chrome to create a new profile from scratch. If you have Google Sync enabled, make sure it's disabled on the new profile to avoid re importing whatever caused the corruption in the first place.

This error means that something is wrong on your isp side ( usually due to oversharing a single ipv4 address) . I suggest you to contact them.

I don't really use the desktop version of Chrome anymore, the Android version is fast.

Install the Data Saver addon for your desktop version (this is built-in on mobile) and there's an addon called Web Boost, which also helps. Change to 1.1.1.1 Cloudflare DNS, i know you said, you did this, but that one is the fastest for sure.

This sounds suspicious, you may want to run a malware scan on your computer, something might be hijacking your traffic, maybe a coin miner is running in the background at all times or something else.

This is the easiest to check, turn them off (one by one) and see.

Can I do this - Export my bookmarks as html file. COMPLETELY reset chrome and use a new email to start fresh?

My ISP is pure shit. They won't pay attention to such things. According to them if google, yahoo, facebook, youtube and videos are playing and files can be downloaded then it's all good. >_<

I'm already running paid malware bytes and bit defender 2019. Checked with both of them and nothing.

Probably just your background check being run. Credit score, food and drug habits and so on. All normal no problems.

2. FB and any other pages take around 2-3 seconds to open.

Nothing to be concerned about. Just the NSA checking your hard drive for any subversive material. If you're not doing anything shady there's nothing to worry about.

Chuck Norris Chrome Law: You don't crawl using Chrome, Chrome crawls using you.

Look out your window. Do you see black vans and men in dark shades?

What are you trying to hide from us?

Do you not trust 8.8.8.8? Why do you distrust us. We're here to protect you.

No need to move to another browser. Trust us. You're fine with Chrome. Just continue using it normally, citizen. Obey.

Thanks in advance.

You're welcome, citizen.

if I need to move onto another browser for getting back the smoothness?

Do not pay attention to the hoodie wearing girl in glasses. Repeat. Do not pay attention to the girl's hoodie. You are like the other guys on the photo. Just look ahead. Do not switch your browser, citizen.

You don't even need to use a new email, you can use the "reset sync" option on the Google dashboard and it'll purge your old sync data. When you sign back in, it will start a new sync using your fresh profile.

Ah I see. Thanks mate.

BTW, is getting the captcha error like 40% of the time throughout the day good? How many times are you guys getting it?

UPDATE - So the problem was not chrome. The opening aka the crawling to new pages was being delayed by the awesome Bit defender 2019.

It deeply scans every URL and the web pages before letting the browser open. I turned off those options and every page is opening in the blink of my eye. But bit defender shows Online Threat Prevention is disabled in RED. :P

Did you check if you have the same IP with others? Captcha won't prompt if you don't vising unwanted sight, you pretty sure you're the only one using the internet? About the Chrome, you must check your RAM. Remember the chrome is a ram hugger, the more you have, the more it hugs it. You know what I mean if you're techsavvy. I suggest you go on incognito mode, much precise than the other.
