Enemies are driving fake follower

A jealous competitor that is buying me fake followers(looks shitty) to make my business look not credible what can I do man? how can i stop him to drive fake follower on my account ?I don’t wanna put my account on private because I will get less followers.Is there any chance to get shadow banned/banned by IG just because of this fake follower ? this enemies is really driving me crazy .Do you guys have any suggestions how to stop this jealous competitor ? is this fake follower harm my account?

Honestly there's nothing you can do, support wont help and until the fake followers get banned they'll make your engagement look worse

I would go private, don't risk it, because now your account health is flagged.
Terrible fucking platform, you can destroy someones hard work overnight for a couple bucks

This has become the new norm and we have experienced it multiple times. Removing ghost followers suck and every experiment we've conducted with mass follower removals in the past has led to even shittier engagement. It's almost as if Instagram knows what you're trying to do, but don't want to give you the results that you theoretically should have for doing it.

You can go private. You can change username. You can continuously remove fake followers.

So how many fake followers are you getting? How can you be sure that your competitors would do something like this? IMO a normal person would think it's a beneficial thing to add followers to your account?

If you are that sure of this though, why don't you just contact your competitor and tell them to stop? What could be faster and more effective than doing this?
