Getting older domains- PBN

I was studying one of my competitors pbns. One of the things that caught my eye
was that alot of his pbns had a first registration date over 5+ years ago.

How Can I Duplicate this. Do I need to buy dropped domains instead of expired domains.
What is a good source to get these domains.

Buy expired domains with a decent link profile and without a penalty. Then build some content on it and link back to your main site. Its the only way to do it.

You want to buy aged domain means go wit expired domains those blogs have good age. Before select the domains check the backlink strength and other metrics also. Avoid irrelevant backlink and spam backlink blogs.

But what does the registration date has to do with anything? the most important thing to have a powerful PBN is the backlink profile of the websites you are controlling, lets suppose I find a drop domain that has a backlink from the home page from the NYT, I register again today, in theory that domain is one day old, IF I send a backlink from that one day old website to any of my websites I am sure I will surpass them almost immediately.

Registration date may have nothing to do with it. But I would like to get a few to test the theory.

You can have a 1yr old powerful domain, the main thing with older domains is they've built up a strong backlink profile over a long period. This makes them more appealing to pick up. But the actual age of the domain doesn't mean anything.
