Hi BHW,

I’ve recently started to do some SEO for my business.

I am pretty sure I have some bad backlinks however I am unaware of any methods to see this links and remove them.

What tool can:
-list all backlinks etc
-shows which back links are bad
-remove back links

Many thanks
JW

Try ahrefs or SEMrush both are great if you want to identify links. But since its for your site you may also wanna check your webmasters tool account for those links. Once you have identified them just disavow them through the same webmasters tool.

Thread moved.

You can do this with ahrefs. You can pay for an account, or you can post in the hire a freelancer forum here, and ask for someone to provide you a full backlink export from ahrefs - probably cost you a couple of dollars. Then you'll get the full list of links found by ahrefs along with their value for each backlink. You can also do your own assessment of the links depending on the type of links they are, where they are coming from and whether they are contextual, relevant etc as well as looking at the anchor text used. You can use all of those factors to determine if the links are good or bad.

Webmasters shows 0 links to my site but I know for a fact there are

I feel like ahref and semrush are overkill for me. They provide so many tools that I do not need and therefore -$100 a month just for small analysis Isn’t worth it imo
