So i been testing several accounts trying to figure out what is causing bans.

So i made a new account used a link from bit.ly and let it run. I have an ecommerce store and i use a shopify app called lucky orange to record my site.

I made a new shopify store for this test so the domain had never been used with instagram.

I been noticing lots of visits from facebook recently yet i have no facebook pages of my accounts or business enabled.

So i went to the search bar and type facebook for all the visits what i found they are using some type of bot and it is running the domain example www.google.com/fashionnova when the bit.ly link was www.bit.ly/fashionnova the same was said if you used the generic link it comes up with.

That lets me know they can track past a bit.ly link funny as there was a thread a day ago
discussing if instagram could track short url and links click threw instagram.

So i decided to make another account and do the same yet again they search it the same way after about a day both accounts got banned. The account was made on a fresh phone never used before with 4g not wifi and not botted.

From what i can tell instagram has a method they are using to track back any accounts with multiple links to the same domain. I had yet to do anything with the second account except add another short link with a new short link.

I think what they are doing is running those short links a couple times a day if it hits back with a 404 error everytime it flags the account.

Im thinking they repurposed the bot that check the domains when you are getting approved for facebook ads.

I went ahead grabbed another account and put the real domain and i could see hours later facebook visited example orginal domain "www.google.com/" with just a "/" nothing else not causing any 404 errors of course.

while using the original domain in your profile they are tracking it, But i have yet face a ban on that account.

So this is just a quick warrning to watch out. im still working on some other ideas about why accounts using bots to post pictures are getting accounts banned.

I already have proof that these bots are leaking the real ip when the photo is being sent to instagram. for now i wont name them since i want to do more testing.

Somwrhing shure has changed, i runned 40 accounts for years making 20usd daily with blazingseo proxies. Im about to test with better proxies today and see if its all proxy related. Many people says that profiling/posting with bad proxy might be a problem. I dont think a bot like jarvee leak any info, they have realy good devs updating this bot and they know what they r doing.

Anyone else can chim on why accounts gets banned between 3-7 days these days?

Yea its the end of botting
run to the hills

it's not dead yet ive been tracking some big players in the eccommerce gaming using a service similar to the one offered here having to do with multiple accounts and increasing the original accounts followers. It seems to only be affecting accounts with links in bio and posting photos from bots. These accounts are following like crazy no problem and commenting and liking with no real issues they never upload new photos and have no bio links.

It is unlikely to get real IP.
but BIO is easy to track and get the real link , whatever it use 301 or php html js redirect to the real link.

Similar pictures can be identified even change HASH and size , but they require a lot of computing power.

I can say i haven't done anything with Jarvee yet. proxies are a huge problem now mostly for anything other then F/U but i can say i used multiple proxies and had them work great on certain bots and horrible posting photos and liking on others. Ip leaking is happening with bots im sure almost every bot has it to some extent seems only to be happening photo posting or an action that causes it triggers pv or ban.

I have a friend helping out he works as a network admin and has been tracking packets and request and showed me i was correct with my theory. I can't speak on why it's happeing or anything like that i have no knowlege about packets or programing codes. I just have ideas and pass it along to someone that can help.

Good work OP. I'm just running a few accounts (10) but was running like 15 before 5 of them were disabled and the 10 left get PVA every day at around 5AM. Every single day, just once though. PVA them all and there back up and running.

I do have links all to different pages mind you, but the same domain, so this could be what's going on in my case.

Photo for sure they track pretty easy if they want ive changed all the info on a photo and had it show up on reverse image search, I change md5,remove all meta data, run it threw image rehasher when doing tests. For now they know people are using the same photos and don't care other than penalizing engagement or banning when the same photo is being spammed by multiple accounts at one time or close together.

Try going back in the bot and look at what action the bot is doing when pv occurs. To also mention about ip leak its not all the bots fault we found where a proxy goes down for a couple milli seconds to long caused a pv.

I have the same problem. Running 100 accounts and the next day at around 11AM-12PM (probably same time as you due to timezone) a lot of accounts get hit with PVA at once. The rest continue running without anymore PVAs during the day.

This is nothing new, they have been crawling links since the feature was added to Instagram.
The only thing that changed around August this year, is adding links to new or flagged accounts will get them banned very quickly.

I have been using my own cloaker to check for bots and some links with a lot of traffic get 100s of bot clicks each day. This also depends on the accounts actions.

Good thread. I have a few accounts that I'm running on jarvee. they do not have links in bio, only tag the main account (they're "fan" accounts"). They are reposting from one or two sources (main account - tagged in bio, and the other account - of someone else). I only have them reposting about 3-4x/week. Does having the tag in bio pose a problem? Is the reposting of pics from other accounts (and tagging the original poster) a flag also? Real fan accounts do that all the time. I'm not trying to sell anything, just direct traffic to main accounts to grow them.

See what actions the accounts where doing during pv occurring please post back. Im thinking if you have all accounts running 24 hours that may be the reason try setting up schedule for the accounts to run on and see if anything changes.

The thing is that usually happens with cpa, This is a brand new ecom domain to instagram and looks like the only thing causing the ban is 404.

I can't say if reposting is causing the issue. Having the same bio on all the accounts could cause issues and account bans.

Ok I'll get back to you on that. All of the accounts had a 6-7 hour nightmode.

Every time u put the link in to your account - its cheked by instagram bots. Facebook own Instagram, so its more right to say: links are checked by FB bots, example:

Anyone else seen when you get an action block it now tells you when it's going to expire?

The thing is it looks like the accounts only got blocked for short link causing 404 error. My other account still going with real link in bio.

All this is for test if we all tired to figure out why accounts are getting banned we can make changes.

What about if you URL is to another social media, like a Facebook page or something ("parasite")? Would that still be a red flag if several accounts link to the same social media profile/page/whatever?

It would but I think they would only take action if they think the account is spammy. Nobody can say for sure but this is the first time I can say I seen Facebook visit the site and account get banned right after.
