I'd ask what factors go into getting on the explore page, is shadowbanning in fact real (and what does the algo consider when doing so), and also what is the truth behind "your post only reaches 10% of your followers first" thing.
I'd rather ask if shadowbans are real .
Explore Page:
- 100% unique content, no repost, no stolen media, clean MD5 Hash and media should never used on IG before
- different ways to shown up "posts liked by people whose posts you’ve liked", "posts from accounts similar to those that you follow", "viral content/awesome engagement"
-- when you posted a new post, IG will initial show your fresh post to some people on the explorer page. When they engage, IG knows your post is awesome and will show the post to other and more people. If you want to fake/push such an engagement you need some slave accs which follow similar accs to your own and interact with your main accs from the explorer page for example (this method is sky rocketing your posts to go viral!).
Shadow Banning
- Yes, shadow bans exists and it's real but the name shadow ban was embossed by people and not IG its self. IG has another intern name for shadow banning and have never communicated the method official. It's used as a spam prevention method. Long time ago (not the official press statement for recognizing objects in the last days), IG rolled out step by step an AI recognizing objects algo to determine how users are using the hashtags. The idea behind the hashtags: add some hashtags which describe your picture most likely and not always 30 hashtags per post to spam several hashtag combinations. Even if 30 hashtags are allowed, 5-10 are better. From today to tomorrow many people got hit by the so called shadow ban wave. Real people, no botters or spammers, because they used too many different hashtags which did not fit the picture (only objects, IG is not able to determine a good mood accuracy atm). The shadow ban got advanced from month to month. New algos were added to prevent spam methods. If you followed/liked a lot then your own media get shadow banned to inhibit your social reach. This happens also when you post explicit or violence content. Simply said: shadow ban is an anti spam prevention.
10% of your followers
- Nope, that's a myth. Every follower is able to see your post but the most people are following 100s of persons and no person scrolls 15-20 min their own feed to get all pictures.
ill ask why all the fucking bans , why not just let users have as many accounts as possible.
Because you're offending against IG TOS and that will be punished => botting, automated tasks...
Exactly what accounts need to like and comment so that your posts get to Explore page.
No template "large accounts with good engagement", or "similar accounts that are followed by your followers" bull.
Important is, when you fresh posted a post, IG will show your post initial to some people on the explorer page. If they engage, it's good for you ;-) otherwise you need to manually push your posts with other accs. Yes, a large acc with good engagement is helpful and better as a small acc with no engagement. But the rocket boost is, when you accs like your post from the explorer page. Read above, I gave a tip how to do it.
I would ask the method used to flag acc or posts or keys to the shop
IG has a intern acc trust factor score for several properties. For example: if you have a bad proxy 0-100%, unnatural human behavior 0-100%, spamming 0-100%, stolen media...
All these properties will be added together to determine a global account trust score. Based on the trust factor score, IG decides to set flags like action blocks, shadow banning, pv, ev etc...
Why they keep reset my IG passwords ? I use proxy and my settings are very low (400 F/Day).
I only Growth account to resell.
One account/proxy.
It's a normal security prevention to prevent abuse. The quality of your proxy is the problem.
I'd ask them for some blue badges so I wouldn't have to care about understanding the algorithm ever again.
It's not a big deal to get verified an authentic acc, when you not botted or spammed. There are no big or complicated algos. IG checks automatically if you are a public person. Searchs for news posts and if you got intimidated on IG for example. Create an own wikipedia post about yourself, go to a primary school and tell the kids something about internet privacy and make sure that the local press is writing an article about your nice move to tell kids they should beware with social media.
I bet they don't even know how IG works, it's evolved #scary
You lost. IG knows exactly what they are doing. They are using the same strategy like Google. In the beginning of Google it was very easy to get on first page and hit first three results. When you changed something on your website, the google bot visited your site again and you saw some days later the changes in the search results. Nowadays, when you change something on your website, 1-2 months nothings happens or changes on the search result pages. IG dont want to reveal changes immediately, so maybe you changed something, your acc got flagged already but you get a ban wave, a lots of pv/ev or action blocks some days later and its hard to figure out for you, what exactly caused the problem.
