HOW DO I MONETIZE AN ENTERTAINMENT BLOG?

The website actually belong to a friend of mine but I want to start off my online journey through the website. Due to the knowledge I've gathered here on BHW so far, I know more than him about website or blog monetization but due to the niche of the website I finds it difficult to find best monetization method. Currently the website is full of copy and paste posts about celebrities, new music download, politics and the likes.

So what should I do to make the site SEO friendly and monetizable?
I'm ready to invest the little i can afford on facebook ads for traffic.

Please if you guys have time please check the website and advice me on what should be changed or done the right way.

1. Use (SSL certificate)
2. Change the damn font! it's unreadable
3. Look for some interesting keywords you want to rank
4. Create optimised landing pages for those keywords
5. Create content and post it once every 2 or 3 days
6. Get a Google Adsense account
7. Start link building
8. Try to get a committed community and keep them interested in your "brand"

I so much appreciate. But for Google Adsense, I think they are too strick so i don't have them in mind for now

Well you can always try other ad networks to display advertising or do "sponsored content". <-- this is valuable for bigger brands if you gain enough traffic and it's a good money maker.
