I've joined one digital marketing company 15 days ago and everything is going fine. My job is to do SEO work. So far I'm doing great job and I got call from owner that he is not comfortable working with me.
I've seen that there are 4 other members are doing SEO work there are thy are only working SBM directory submission and social media for ranking site. When I joined them I started to teach them how real SEO works and then they are following my guides and woking on my given plan. (Thanks BHW for knowledge).
Because of they are working with my guides owner is not feeling comfortable to work with me and he fired me. I don't know how to react on this. Dose having a good knowledge of IM is bullshit.

It's time to start your own agency, OP.
Go for revenge. Be twice as successful as your previous boss, your old colleagues would show up for sure. Then he's left all alone with his insecurities since you gave him a mini ego death.

Obviously he didn't hire you to do your thing, he hired you to do his thing. Unless you discussed and got permission first, why did you imagine you have free reign on how the job gets done? When you're an employee you do what you're told, not whatever you think should be done.

This is the problem in most of the Indian companies it's all the same old practices they preach :(

If you're not comfortable working under someone, take responsibility and start your own business in Digital Marketing.

This.

@OP: Even if according to your owner's guide of doing SEO is noobish and trash, don't correct him because bosses are arrogant and they don't like to get corrected. Just follow him because you are working for him. I know it is hard to do that when you have the correct knowledge but know not everyone has good knowledge of their work and when bosses sees their employees doing good and ahead of them...this happens!

See, companies who have such bosses reaches nowhere big lol.

Congrats you've been set free. Poach his clients and get busy making money.

That sucks man, sorry to hear that. Just keep it up, and honestly I would think about just doing work with your own clients and take out the boss situation if you can.

be positive! it´s your chance :-) use your knowledge yourself and earn more money + more freedom

I agree with everyone here. If you want to keep a job, you have to be a little bitch boy. You're obviously a natural leader and should start your own business.

Copy/ paste work; ok sir; thank you sir; see you later sir; you are always right sir.
New tab: blackhatworld.com :D

While I completely agree to this, I believe any good company should give it's employees more freedom on the process (but ofcourse, there should be rules & regulations), especially seo and programming. The top level should focus on top level decisions and not on low level technicalities imho.

What op wrote, it does feel like his boss is an arrogant asshole lol.. Maybbe he could warn him instead of firing him..

You should have kept your head down, not show off with your SEO knowledge. Move on and look for another job.

I get needing to shake things up at a company, and maybe sharing your ideas and reiterating them over time would have been a better play if you wanted to stay employed there. Totally rocking the boat 15 days in feels aggressive, even if they were doing the "wrong things".

But I agree with most of the feed, you probably should go your own way.

That's the company's problem though and I don't think giving freedom of action is a universally good strategy as far as results and profits are concerned.

Take for example McDonalds. The company has designed its processes in such a way as to be run well even by idiots as long as they follow the instructions faithfully. They certainly do not want someone "who knows better" to come in and mess with their idiot-proof process. Otherwise, they wouldn't be in the massive junk food business, they'd have a bunch of Michelin-starred restaurants.

Yeahh.. fmcg is a different beast. I was rather referring to the creative industry e.g. content marketing, programming, seo etc.
