Post same content multiple times on a website

Hey guys.

Let's say I have a car blog and I make a top "10 cars of 2018" and I put the BMW 3 with a 200-300 word description. If I later make a "top bmw of all time" and have the same car with the description will I get penalized? Should I try and change it up rather than putting the same thing or it doesn't really matter?

You will. At least I got penalty for doing something similar. In my case there was main page with all items and then I had separate pages for categories, so it happened so that my main page was not show at all in Google results, while previously it was in top 3, however one of those category pages was still showing.

Keep it unique. Sure you can cover the same exact topic, but re-write it totally.

That's a risky attempt for sure. Internal plagiarism within the same site will backfire. Just to cut a small cost, putting your site in risk is unwise.

Try rewriting it a bit and make it unique.

Definitely rewrite the description, do not use the same text on multiple pages, it will cause you issues. Pain in the arse but necessary.

that's duplicate content, rewrite original content to unique one

If you are using the same contexts you will get into trouble. So better rewrite the content in different ways explaininG the same ideas. Keep it unique.

Definitely it will not be a good option at all. Even if the core of the content is same but try to write it differently, if you can do it that is good enough,otherwise you may hire some expert from any of the freelancing portals available. They aren't costly at all.
