Linkedin Pulse as a parasite?

Hi, does anyone have used linkedin pulse as a parasite and ranked in google for medium and low competitive keywords? Please share your experience if you have done so.

A few years back, they used to be indexed and even rank in SERPs but later they changed the algorithm I think, so they are no longer visible. Anybody has tried this recently?

Yes i inserted links with anchor text though i am confused with pulse article it was no clickable link in source page!
