What SEO do I require?

Packages are fine but they’re only one small part of seo.

There’s none, or at least very few, off the shelf seo packages that you can buy without the need for anything else.

If you want to use those packages you need to at least learn something about seo first. If you don’t want any involvement then you really need to hire an seo expert and you’ll end up paying 4x because they’ll be buying packages and adding on their own fee.

On top of packages what needs to be done? I thought those packages covered all bases

Well, you need:

Great content
Good interlinking
Good on-page seo
Social signals
Backlinks
Distribution of backlinks throughout the site
Different link types

And it’s different with every niche and every site.

If you look for an all in one links package, you might get something like the above. But there’s not many that cover all the bases.

I’m not saying the services aren’t good, I’m just saying that you really need some knowledge and understanding yourself. Otherwise you need to find someone that’s going to be devoted to your site and your project - that’s something slightly different to a typical seo package. IMHO.

I see what you mean now, the package I am interested covers 4/7 of those things. I assume that’ll still boost my ranking tremendously but to really reach the top I’ve got to do the rest myself

A single package or a one time SEO campaign won't cut it. Depending on your goals you need to strategize your link building. It is not necessary that you build links every day, but build links consistently. Since your's isn't a fly-by-the-night business - you need to focus on achieving rankings on a longterm scale.

Instead of going with a specific package - I suggest you speak to the seller and ask him if he can accommodate your custom orders. An ongoing link building campaign for 1 year - which includes building links every month, monthly SERP analysis and a complete blueprint of the ranking strategy.

You can build links, update your site's information and news, write articles, blogging, join some forums, if necessary, make your own videos.
Also, you can use some SEO tools, like SEMrush, GSA, RankerX, etc.
The important thing is that do lots of readings and learn SEO by yourself.

your need to learn seo and understand how yoyr website was built from the ground upwards , there no way that you can just order a package and exspect to beat any computition .

your computition website needs beating ,and then all there socail stats need beating , then your website will need heavy promoting with backlinks and content , and maybe even pbn depending on comp.

your need a full audit on the comp to really no what needed to beat your compitition .

i suggest you hire a exspert from the freelance of this forum.

i see someone sugested you get leads , but you stright away said no , leads would be easer and get you more work , you can also use adwords to get specefic traffic to your current website with no seo needed.

there so many ways to get traffic please dont think google the end of your business there much better ways.

If youre going to outsource SEO with no understanding of SEO you're better off hiring an agency with a solid reputation, who won't screw you.

Red Arrow above is correct, you're going to have a huge amount to learn and it's probably not worth your time. Hire an agency.

remember when dealing with internet markers the jobs that can be brout in can be in the thousands monthly some business i have seen my self fall flat becouse they just can not keep up .(( we do help but be prepared))

i am saying this becouse i helped a local construction company in my area and he got 1500 booking first week , he went grey had 2 hart attacks for real so be prepared .

all i am saying once you get the correct people in place , make sure you can keep up with the work and not look stupid .

Just go to a local SEO and tell him your needs, he will probably charge you a monthly fee and do all the SEO work.
u dont need to buy packages etc. unless u have proper SEO knowledge and you know how will you profit from them.
