Website shamelessly duplicates content from Instagram

So, there's this website poshet.net and like many others that use the AP etc, it basically has all the (public) Instagram accounts. They're ranking on Google too, with someone else's content.

When that someone else is you and they're on the second page for your main keyword, even your personal accout... You'd like to do somethin' about it, right? Well, with others websites like this, it has worked by simply contacting them and requesting the 'problematic' pages to be taken down.

With this one... Their e-mail doesn't work. Didn't a few months ago and not yesterday either. Contacted GoDaddy, they gave me the IP address and told me the host is DigitalOcean. Now I approached them, waiting for a reply.

Are DMCA requests a must for this kind of issue? They do have the option on their website but I don't remember doing that before. Have you? I think I could manage for a personal account but what about other accounts that are more like a brand etc?

I'm not sure about DMCA status for instagram content in different countries. Interesting legal question.

It took quite some time but it finally worked. And filing a DMCA complaint isn't a big deal either.

So, anyone searching for this on BHW... Go for it, it'll work. The host provider is going to take action.

Especially the big, famous ones.

There are always smart asses like this, really really impressive thinking and method, this is exact grey/black hat, but works.

You first find out the details about the domain and you get where it's registered.
I explained the issue and they gave me all the info I needed, some personal too.

Then you go to the hosting provider and after you manage to get to the 'abuse sector', you succeed!
