I'm ranking a parasite page for low comp local keywords. I'm using Reddit as my parasite page. After building links my page is ranking for "<keyword> reddit" at page 1. It appeared in the serps for my keyword at 97 for a day, but then fell off and is completely off the SERPs for that keyword it looks like. (I checked with serprobot, but it only checks first 100 results. Then I checked the next 3 pages manually. No where to be found. Is this Google Dance?

what do you get if you just search for your URL in google? does it show up?
also what about doing siteOMAIN in google? what do you get?
It does show up when I search the URL. Like I said, the page is ranking for "<my keyword> reddit" as first result.

i dont understand what your issue is then?!
Issue is that it's not ranking for my keyword, only for my keyword with reddit after the search term.

I think google will take some time to reconsider the parasite. Keep on building some more links and wait for next 2 to 3 weeks.
Is it good to build links while it's dancing? I've heard to not build any links or it will take longer. To wait and see how it ranks and then build more. I still don't know if it's just dancing, not showing up for those keywords because google doesn't detect it, or if the parasite is penalized.
