Website Hit By Google; What should I do?

Hello all,

I have an HTML website which was ranking in the top 3 for all targeted main keywords.
I used some PBN services from here. They gave me good results but after a few months, my site started to drop in SERPs. Now it is not in the search result for main keywords. I think I got a keyword penalty because I targeted only main keywords with PBNs.

Now I need a help from SEO experts.

Is there a way to remove the penalty from the website and rank it again like before?

OR

What about cloning the site with a new domain and redirect the old domain to the new one?

Please advice.

Are the PBN links still indexed/live?

Disavow them and see if anything will improve or just wait you could be dancing around as I've lost some ranks as well but slowly getting back up.

I don't think it's necessarily a penalty. wait a bit, it might come back(maybe not to the 1st page). If it is a penalty you definitely would not want to redirect it.
What do you mean by targeted only main keyword? no diversity at all? all anchors were exact match?

Plug in your website to Google webmaster tools and see what it shows after a week. If it shows any manual actions then go ahead with disavowing the links you purchased. Also, try contacting the seller here and see if he can delete those links for you.

You could build more links to diversify the anchor text. Lots of service providers on this forum can help you.

If you really value this domain name, then you can attempt to clean it up.

But it'll never rank like before again.

Some are still indexed. I bought 10 links and after 3 months links dead and because of that, my site dropped. I've contacted the seller and he gave me replacement links but my site never came back. It went to the hell.

Yes I used main keywords as anchors. But I also used few LSI. However, I think it is a keyword penalty because of I over optimized main keywords. There are some long tail keywords still ranking top in the SERP. But main KWs are not anywhere in the SERPs.

No I didn't take any manual action on GWT. But I disavowed some spammy links.

If you really value this domain name, then you can attempt to clean it up.

But it'll never rank like before again.

That's why its worth for me. Not it didn't give at least $100 a month from that site LOL

Oh so you did Adsense. That's probably what caused your manual review right there.

You should not wait, You should start removing those PNB sites links and get them to disallow too that Google can understand that your website doesn't have such low or spamming links.

After removing and disallow those links, Make some powerful & quality links and keep doing link building on a daily basis while posting some fresh content on your website too.

It will take some time but surely it will get back the same ranking as it was on SERP.

I got indian and brazil traffic and low cpc.

I only purchased one PBN package which cost me $145
It ranked my site top in SERP. But only a few months. After that, I purchased another couple of packages but they didn't give any results again. My site went down in SERPs.
So I spent around $500 on links and earned around $9K in two months.
