The message sent by RuthSam is completely out of order. However nobody has actually seen the logo. I'm not making judgment, but if someone sold you work what you thought to be well below par, would you pay up? I certainly wouldn't.

I guess it's not about paying up. That guy was probably acting as a middleman and then comes with a shitty excuse when things didn't work out.

It could've been something like: "Hey that isn't something what she was looking for, I'll have to move on".

OP shouldn't have sent the source files though.

Personally I'm getting rather sick of people just handing over any old shite work. And I'm not particularly talking about here, in general.

Well I agree with the "old shit" part. That happened with me on a shitty website called Fiverr.

Not exactly sure which msg you mean (the msg on BHW where he is really mad or the E-Mail), but any mod/admin can look into it further.

He already ordered work twice so he knew what the designer is capable of doing. I also would have loved to find a solution making both of us happy, but you saw what happened...

I was talking about the email posted on this thread. Also I'm not passing judgment, I'm simply saying it's hard to pass judgment without seeing the quality of the work.

I'm not questioning the reason he was banned, that is pretty clear.

I was thinking that but then again he did not come here to defend against it. If someone posted something like that and it was not real I would be going fucking mental! The fact that he didn't may show that he was embarrassed to return for being called out on it with a screen shot. just my 2c. Judging any design is hard to do cuz tastes are different.

Anyhow, the point is that work is done - no initial feedback received - it's just rude. Not paying after that even ruder.

The fact he chose the wrong option and didn't give the seller chance to revise it, is what flushed his account.
There was no misunderstanding as to what was offered, ie revisions until happy, and he agreed to that before going ahead.



It wasn't pride it was stupidity = plain and simple.
