What's difference between a 5k$mo dropshipper and a 0$mo?

I notice that some dropshippers look very desperate, they make it look like it's impossible to sell anything while others are very positive and make 5k+, I don't get it, both of these groups are using software and arbitrage, what could they possibly do different?

The important part about making it BIG on eCommerce is to have a proper research process in place. If you've a shit product no matter how good you are at marketing potential prospects won't purchase it. Drop shipping is profitable and all it requires is 3 to 5 good converting products with a relatively fast shipping process and anyone can earn BIG.

Separating themselves from others by doing something different.
One might have a crappy site while the other has a professional site optimized for conversions.

But here's the thing, many who claim to "make" $5,000 are either full of shit or they "make" $5,000 as income, not profit. $5,000 income on drop shipping isn't that hard, if you take just enough margin to make a buck per item you can hit $5,000 easily. You'll be making like $300 a month but you can tell all your buddies, and more importantly the people you want to buy your eBook, that you've made $5,000.

If you take out the technically true but mostly lying sacks of shit, I'm fairly confident the numbers aren't that far apart. The ones claiming to make $0 often want to be spoon fed, so that's likely most of their problem. They just don't understand it's still a legit business with outsourced logistics.

So between the people that aren't lying and aren't making $0 because they think it's "put items on a website, sit on beach", the numbers aren't going to be that far apart. Drop shipping isn't exactly rocket science, you're running a regular retail business with outsourced logistics and need to do everything a regular business does.

Those who understand that will make $5,000, those who don't and think it's a way to get rich doing nothing will make $0.

Actually, it's none of the above, the difference is only testing. The guys that make it big, consistently test 5+ products a day, each with several different ad copies/landers.

hey ,$5k is completely achievable , if you have ads budget.
All you need is one winning product and a scaling strategy .
And Facebook even make it more easy

Yes, simply choose a niche and research and source the top selling products related to your niche. It's better to have multiple different niche sites that offer a small amount of products rather than having a site that covers multiple niches/products. Unless your already a millionaire, don't think like walmart, think like more like a kiosk in the mall that specializes in just a few products, if not only one product.

That's subjective, but I'd stay away from dropshipping unless you love tons of work

The difference is in the proccess my friend. As a person is this thread said - those making $0 just slapped some products onto a website and layed back, posted a few items on a few social media profiles, annddddddd... Nothing, ofc.

Those REALLY banking 5k a month have:
Abandon cart sequences that hit up contacts for weeks, buyers contact list automation, crappy contact automation with f+s products, funnels for the high ticket items, buy-at-cost clubs where they earn on monthly membership fees, soooo much email marketing, fb/g ads etc...
