have you ever experienced a serp lock related to the keyword you are ranking / cleaning?
If yes what frequency you was posting on various platforms?

Which frequency do you consider "safe" to create social platforms accounts?

Results in the first page does not move supposedly because of sensining manipulation attempts to the specific keywords.

I heard this more than 1 time from ORM guys and never happened to me, I'm trying to figure out if is just a myth or realtity.
I personally never experienced any similar doing SEO/Link builting

I have seen it many times. I caused it a lot in the past, in my experience, it was by building thousands (and millions) of links to the positive pages in the SERPs. I haven't built links like that in a few years, but many people still do.

I have seen it recently caused by the same thing, but done by other agencies.

I just talked with a guy who was dealing with the problem and couldn't get anything to move, not even stuff that normally ranks. I looked at the SERPs and saw 100k+ links to each of the positive sites. Junk links like wiki's, blog comments, PBN posts, etc.

That's my experience with SERPs locking.

I was thinking about the same thing you described: if you point GSA or shit like that to positive pages this may be the cause of a potential serp lock - which you just confirmed exists and is not a myth only.

Any experience with brandyourself? does it build tons of low quality links or is acceptable?

I test a lot of services, but my primary goal is to see if their link building and suppression is effective. I have enough clients who have used BrandYourself unsuccessfully and send me their old reports to know that I don't need to test them.

Honestly, I don't outsource any link building anymore. We do everything in house through direct outreach. We email, negotiate and build links that way. They're great long term, no footprints, and help with rankings. Everything else that I've seen can be traced back to the provider or there are major footprints.

Through outreach, you still need to look and decide if a site is a PBN and that is always done manually.
