This is a soft reminder for those of you that don't make back-ups for the important files.
I kept some files only on one device. Every now and then I used to say "I should make a back-up just in case.".
Boy oh boy. I should listen to myself more.
A few days the HDD failed after a little 'bump'. Had to replace it and it seems the data is not recuperable (still looking into more services that might do that).
The funny part is that I don't regret entirely losing some of the data (some old photos and videos). That part is about a past that I should've got passed over some time ago. So the past few days I got the impulse to set some things straight about the past.
It's funny how a 'bad thing' is not entirely bad. Now I look at this event as a good thing to move in a better direction.
Anyway. Back-up your shit.
