Curious about some marketing Clickbank products

while browsing see which one to promote . I saw quite alot their page is so call funnel page

tell visitor to register for Free training ,

now My question . the vendor ok . since They are seller i can understand. They pay u when got sales.

So let say I promote their products , visitors register , so the vendor got the email , they will follow up etc if got sales will credit?

and on the same time they got new batch of email list. ?


Some folks claim skip these vendors as is not wise to promote this as you are helping them to get free email list ?

Well, most people discourage you from promoting these vendors' products because they claim the vendors will later send out emails to these visitors with their own (the vendor's) hoplink to their salespage - effectively stealing your supposed hard-earned commissions. In the past, there were many incidents of vendors doing it but it has become very rare now, especially since you can report it to Clickbank and they will ban these vendors.

I wouldn't really care if these vendors are getting free email leads from you/us, because as soon as a customer purchases the product their email address, which they entered during the checkout page, will be recorded in the transaction page (in the past, affiliates were able to see it too but they've disabled it). Or the vendor could code their download page in such a way that when Clickbank passes the transaction query perimeters over, the email address is recorded to their database. Then, they may get spammed incessantly with numerous different Clickbank offers or offers from other networks. Now don't get me wrong... not all vendors do this. But there are a few bad eggs out there.

So you should be more worried about the first scenario I've stated - where vendors may just give out the free report or whatsoever, then in the report or in the later email follow-up series, the vendor places his/her own hoplink and gets the customer to purchase the product, thus stealing your commission.

Dam i feel cheated to be frank . I got quality traffic real visitors recently I just try .. traffic is there i see the hop link but no sales recorded , I know is a follow up , maybe take few days later or even week finally got sale.
what you mention is what i worry . I does pick the high gravity one so I thought the vendor should be honest at least.

Eh, if you're sending cold traffic to such offers, expect your conversion rates to be low.

Put yourself in the visitor's shoes or perspective: imagine you're trying to lose weight, then some online stranger who you do not even know redirects you to a weight loss offer where they ask you to buy a weight loss product. Imagine if that's you, would you buy it? The chances is no. But there ARE people who will still buy, if they are desperate or keen enough. But the probability is very low. Expect conversion rates to be lower than 1%? It could even be 0% as they fear it is a scam. But there are exceptional cases sometimes... especially if the vendor's VSL is just so god damn pretty good and convincing... even so, don't expect excellent conversion rates.

Now imagine another scenario... You're into yoga. You joined a FB group or email newsletter which discusses about Yoga. You've been following this FB page or 'guru' for months and they've dispensed many useful tips, videos, and advice. One day, this person tells you, "Hey, if you guys want to find an awesome yoga course, check this out!" then you're brought to the yoga offer. Would you buy it? Chances are, yes because it was recommended by someone you trust and have been in debt after so many free advice, interaction, and what not. Even for such scenario and with optimism, you can expect conversion rate of 1-5%.

Then there are demographics to consider to. If most of your traffic demographic are kids, what makes you think they have any disposable income to buy anything? Or if the person is a millennial or a computer literate person... they will think, "What? A digital product? For HOW MUCH? $37? No, thank you." or they will just try to find cheaper alternatives or free downloads.

So very likely it isn't the vendor stealing your commission... but your traffic quality.

Good advise ., well I not promoting fitness stuffs. Is marketing stuffs just that their Affliate link is funnel page put FREE training , yes they collect email list . I mean does they do follow up for u ? if your vistors opt in and after few follow they decide to buy the product thus u got commision ?

How can they do follow up for you? No no no. Clickbank aff link always sell something. It is not prelander.
It is you who responsible for making prelander and get email list, then email your list.
I know the program which do everything for you so you just need to drive traffic/email to them but they have no business offer.
All in all, building your list is important. So you can promote for free for life

You'll get credit for the sale. All you have to do is fill in your own email and monitor it for a week and make sure that when you click on their email links, that it's your affiliate ID in the checkout each time. I was a bit skeptical myself when I found a product that I was interested in promoting and it didn't have the initial sign up form.. but in the end, everything worked out fine. And I'm still promoting said product to this day. It's actually beneficial because they keep pushing out emails to the person repeatedly, so you can gain a sign up weeks or months down the line.

I can't vouch that all of the vendors that do this are legit, but the one has been legitimate. I still get follow up emails in my burner emails, and all the links still have my aff-id in them, and it's been a few months now since I ran the test.

All you have to do is fill in your own email and monitor it for a week and make sure that when you click on their email links, that it's your affiliate ID in the checkout each time. This is why I wonder those products which the landing page is capture email, i wonder promoting it the seller is " helping us to follow up got sales , they earn but also give us as affliate commision OR they follow up is their own stuff " but i i see no point , is like " cheating us as affliate to do promote for their products " which I does believe CB will ban these type of seller?

No, I think you're misunderstanding it. They're sending out follow up emails, but if the person signs up for it you'll still recieve credit for it. The follow up email links will have your aff-id in them. To test it, just sign up for one of the offers with a test email address... and check the emails that get sent. If a week or two later you're still getting emails, and when you goto checkout your aff-id is in the box, then its good. If the follow up emails dont contain your aff-id, then they're trying to be slick and you can either report it to CB, or just go find another vendor to sell products for. If the vendor is honest, and sending the follow up emails and it contains your link.. then thats a good thing, its autopromotion for you. If they're sending follow up emails without your aff-id, then they're beating you. Only way to know is to test it with each vendors offer.

Vendors are not interested to steal any commission. Happy affs = more traffic. It's a win+win no brainer!
