woo commerce is best for store but if you have no concern with clients databse then shopify is well managed and integrated platfrom

when some one purchase a thing from your website the during checkout he/she will put personal data like first name last name email,in shopify there is limitation because everything is gonna store on their platform but in your wordpress+wo commerce its under your control,Anotherthing about $35 each month you have to pay to them for to run your things

Thanks! Until now i had no customer not even abandoned carts on my shopify store.
While on etsy i get 10-20 orders per week.
35$ per month together with ad campaign?

shopify have fee about $35/month just for their platform no ad campaign further more confirm rates on shopify

woo commerce is 1 time payment about $30-$50.Ads campaigns depends on your investment /network

Is there a tool like promoted listings on etsy that helps you attract customers or the plan is basically the same? facebook ads or google adwords?
And eBay just put in place tougher practices to be Top Rated, are milking over the customers more. Not letting regular people talk to MSO to help them get stuff actually resolved. And their new $3,000 per month membership they rolled out from the highest at like $400? Crazy stuff.
WordPress and WooCommerce are both free and open source.. that's only one reason they're the best.
Shopify developers are a unique crowd. They make it the easiest for people to build out and produce a lot of crazy cool platform specific plug-ins.
But if you know WordPress, and PHP, and a little bit of MySQL.. and open-source.. that's kind of yours for the taking isn't it.. highly customizable

That's a difficult question, well i love art and i know everything about art so my niche was art. You must know what you are selling.Find something you love to buy and customize it.

For me hard to sell in etsy but it is up to you if customized good products, jewelry designs are perfect as well and shopify is a way different from etsy anyways these are just same online store you just have to have high product search rankings.
What kind of ads are you talking about ha. Plug-ins have their place they can be huge time savers for a lot of things but I prefer to custom code/tailor if I can. And most ad integrations are just a block of javascript code you insert on your page, like nearly cut and paste type thing, to get them up and active.. so I would probably just enqueue the js in their custom-functions file to turn up on certain pages or whatever.. idk it's not hard once you get an understanding of how the wordpress template hierarchy is set up and the base code (PHP, MySQL and the built in WordPress/WooCommerce functions and hooks) that it works out of it and interacts.
I still don't know a lot of it. There is too much to learn. Things move so fast. I won't be slight and say it's easy, in fact it sucks a lot of the time (until it works
especially trying to figure out new stuff), but just having the basic understanding of how it works is well worth it and can open up a lot of possibilities if needed.Oh if you're talking about like adwords or facebook.. that might be more applicable for a plug-in.

I might nerd out on you but all they require is a feed (XML etc).. can of course get that info from WordPress/Woo.. I made my own table in the wordpress database to do it.. hardest thing is trying to tailor it to their structure, but it's also decent because you get to dig your head in the minutia of it all which can help. Prices and stock and all I just automated from different channels and had it update the feed everyday... but Google is constantly rolling out updates, doing other stuff... but ya I'd recommend a plug-in for that for most people.

There are several platforms that on the face of things look cheap, but then you need to look at the add-ons depending on your functionality.
Thus if you need the ability for stock control, client database, discounts/coupons, emailing etc, a lot of platforms charge for these and these 'extras' soon add up per month.
