USPS Change of Address any affect on citations?

Hi,

Just wanted to check if anyone has experienced signals being sent to Google, Yelp, Bing, etc and smaller citations or aggregators (Acxiom, Factual, etc) from a USPS change of address permanent or temporary.

I plan to file a temporary change of address online for mail for one of my businesses while out of state. I’m probably overthinking but:

This wouldn’t effect citations/NAPs at all would it?

Forwarding through a “Change of Address” USPS form wouldn’t actually change your hard address as recognized online right?

It shouldn't, as long as you aren't updating your address online through your website, gmb or any citations.

no way , only u can change anythink.

by the time your home , change woulnt be worth the hasstle so no.

No. All mail you get to the old address is just forwarded to the address you set.

As @redarrow said however, I'm not sure this would exactly be worth all the hassle to setup if you're only going to be gone for a week or two, but it might prove handy if you're going to be gone of a extended period of time, say 2-3 months.
