I own an ecommerce website that sells digital services, i'm currently looking for potential clients, can i count on Linkedin to search in it and find potential clients ? Can i rely on it on these kind of goals ?

Social media marketing is not resulting as good as before. I have never tried LinkedIn yet but tried Facebook and other media's.

Depending on what your niche/service or product is, LinkedIn can be a goldmine.
Even now people underestimate it and are not taking full advantage of the opportunities the platform offers.

Asif Wilson Khan is absolutely right. I have achieved great results by direct messaging to relevant people (CEOs, Founders, etc.) and managed to get new clients for the company I work in with this outreach activity.

Absolutely, if you sell or provide any marketing service/product or are into B2B then LinkedIn is fantastic, yet still people are missing out. Money is there for the taking, not quite as easy as taking candy from a baby but with a decent profile and a professional approach you can make connections, get leads, promote your business and services and kill it. Both WH'ers and BH'ers can profit from LinkedIn.

I run a SMMA agency and i booked 4 consultation calls with LinkedIn last week, it works lol.
